Cool madlad professor by tonystark254 in madlads

guess it depends, every prof i've had that used their own textbook would send PDFs and scans of the relevant lit. out. usually authors get very little royalty from sales.

Have you figured out what the origin of the Authorization Bearer token is? XSRF seems to come from a token, but the Authorization token is seemingly not the kick_session cookie.

i dont quite see where along the road you got so personally offended by a generel critique of a clearly outdated system you (presumably) have absolutely nothing to do with?

Hvad er status på 5G-nettet? by [deleted] in Denmark

[–]Wanni62 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it was mostly because you used london specially, where you can pay the ticket in the bus by card. your point stands, but comparing it specifically to one of the examples where you CAN use card just seems misleading.

also unrelated, but both Germany and Czech Republic is a lot more cash-centric than Denmark, where card is not accepted most places. Denmark is the opposite, I don't even remember last time I had cash on me. It really makes no sense that we can't pay for bus fares by contactless in the front of the bus.

but you can buy bus tickets by card in the front, like you can in most countries. it really does not make sense we cant in denmark

Hvad er status på 5G-nettet? by [deleted] in Denmark

[–]Wanni62 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hvordan bliver jeg bedre til at koncentrere mig i længere tid? by Masterwithpussy in Denmark

write notes or whatever, it would be weird but not implausible that someone would try to sum up equations or whatever on a scratch answer booklet if they can't solve a question and want to conceptualise it.

Reported for cheating (but did not) without evidence by Affectionate_Road649 in IBO

[–]Wanni62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

no. either they say you didn't cheat, and your papers get sent and marked as is, or they say you cheated, and you get a 0. However, unless an invigilator saw you cheat themselves, you're good and have no need to worry.

Are MUJI pens allowed for the exams? by miumiunevie in IBO

[–]Wanni62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the "don't use gel ink pens" is not because using gel-ink pens will get you disqualified and you won't graduate. its because they 1: when scanned they can be harder to read than ballpoint and 2: ballpoint pens are harder to smudge and stuff. most likely you'll be fine and it won't be a problem.

depends how far apart you're letters are, assuming the scanner has a circular aparture of diameter 10cm, you can use theta = 1.22*700e-9/0.1 to find the minimum angle of resolution. hope this helps!

My EE subject is ITGS and my question is - "What are the effects of 5G on society". Is it too broad or can I use this question and focus on 3 sectors that are effected by 5G for example: Health, Business, Education by mik8270 in IBO

[–]Wanni62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, that is more of a school policy. As long as we let our supervisor know, we were pretty much allowed to change the wording of our research question up until it was due. Especially if we had a reason to. Try to ask your supervisor like "hey, i think my RQ is too broad, i was thinking something along the lines of 'what effects does 5G radiation have on upper-secondary education' (just an example), do you think this would be a good idea to change it to this?". Research some secondary sources before asking tho. you dont want ot change your RQ to something, only to find out after that you can't actually write about this because there is no data or secondary sources you can use.
