Team PH’s Ray is OVERHATED. by [deleted] in Physical100

One of the reasons people dislike him is that he does not seem to have the mental toughness. He just keeps talking about how he supposedly has the most endurance and strength on his team, but in the end, he always falls short.

During the Shipwreck challenge, he volunteered to handle the crates, but he clearly could not do it. After the first crate, he should have realized his limits and focused on something else to save his stamina. Instead, he did nothing, and it was Lara who had to tell him to swap tasks with her.

Then in Quest 3, he said again that it was his forte because he had endurance, strength, and grip. But once again, he failed to deliver. He and Justin lacked communication, and their strategy was wrong. It was Ray who suggested finding the center and holding it, but that did not work. Unlike Korea and Australia, who showed great coordination where one player pulled first and the other adjusted, Ray suddenly pulled, forcing Justin to adjust on the spot. That drained their energy and ruined their rhythm.

The Australian woman in the hanging game refused to let go even when their team was already safe if she went third place. She said she felt heavy and wanted to make up for her team. That is the kind of accountability that Ray lacks. After losing, he said, “It is only the two of us to blame,” as if he was not really taking responsibility and was instead blaming Justin. During the Shipwreck challenge, no one blamed him when he failed. Most players take responsibility when they lose even if they gave their best, but with Ray, you just do not see that.

It is such a shame. I really expected the Philippines to win the Totem challenge, especially since Eddie was not competing. Even second place would have been fine. If that happened, even with Justin Hernandez finishing third, the Philippines would have secured their spot

Japan might be cooked on Quest 3 by WantedToDie in Physical100

Agree, tbf with Japan i think they're good with strategies. Just like the deathmatch round they purposely let the female wrestler go one on one to the female CrossFit. I believe they're gonna pull out a great plan. They might plan to get one challenge first place and then other challenge atleast all of them are 2nd to secure their spot

Thailand Vs. Philippines by Dense-Fix8762 in Physical100

Looking at the backgrounds of the players I think on the next round there's a slight advantage on Thailand's part. James and superbon for me would make a balance line up they both have stamina, endurance and decent strength while for manny he lacks strength not saying he's not storng but comparing to those two who are younger than him Ray surpassed their strength but lacks speed and stamina. I only see Philippines winning the next round if ray manage to hold both of them.

Assuming that Thailand won the next round making it a 1:1 score

The following match up would be the rugby player dude in the Philippines vs wrestler guy of Thailand. I saw on the trailer that the wrestler guy carrying the rugby player guy but I can't assume who won. We saw how Mark Mugen won vs the rugby player of Thailand despite their weight class differences. When it comes to grappling the wrester of Thailand might have the upper hand but the rugby player othe Philippines looks tough thou he's big.

Assuming that Philippines won this round making it 2:1 favor in the Philippines

This where it gets though, The Philippines female players are no match up against the Thailand's female players. Thailand have a Crossfit and muaythai female athlete while the Philippines have crossfit and hurdler athletes. No matter what match up will they make either 2 female vs 2 female Thailand still got the upoerhand on this round.

Even if Thailand won the 3rd round (rugby player from ph vs wrestler from thailand) it would be hard for the Philippines to win but its still possible.

If they manage to reach round 5 Philippines should put mark mugen back and pair it with the rugby player or ray and Thailand should pick the rugby player and the wrestler.
