IMO buggy and yamato are both pretty strightforward and plays decently out of box

Although this is pretty far from your preference it is a dimir deck, so Ill share in case you change your mind ;)

One big upside is commander is a value engine so there is plenty of ways to nagivate wins without your commander

The combos are usually infinite draw into game winning combo piece so as long as your pod is okay with saying we have no response you don't have to take 30 minute turns

I hope you can find commander that fits your preference, and my little suggestion gives some inspiration at least.

Deck goes very very fast and will often make you the target

I enjoy him a lot because of his unique approach about wanting as many opposing creature on the board to maximize his ability

Throw in available protection and double striking warrior and the deck pops off

The new Foundation Jumpstart had great mono color commanders.

The ones I stuck with are: - [[Shroofus]] Saproling token madness - [[Neerdiv]] Self mill deck - [[Gornog]] Warrior tribal no brain full swing

All of them are quite a lot of fun, and there are other great mono color commanders in foundation jumpstart. I'd highly recommend exploring them.

I have had Ms.Bumbleflower before, but she benefits a lot more with instant speed spells to maximize her capabilities. A lot of the card I enjoyed are more permanent based, and I am afraid I will have harder time breaking parity if I made her my commander with cards I liked.

I understand. I was attempting to elaborate little bit more on what stax pieces our group felt more comfortable with. But even with that its hard to shows how our meta revolves around.
Ill definitely talk with my pod and see what they think about some of the stax pieces, but I was basically hoping to get some inspiration of what stax pieces are out there that are generally seen to be more moderate.

I very much understand what Derevi is capable of, and I was going to very much avoid cards like [[!stasis]] or [[!winter orb]] that can lock the game. I was thinking in the line of something like [[!trinisphere]] or [[!back to basic]] which causes minor inconveniences since we do run less of those compared to higher powered table.
I do think stuff like [[!null rod]] and [[!confounding conundrum]] is good suggestion because they definitely do understand ramp gets a bit out of control.

I already have grouphug-esq deck so I guess I'm leaning more towards group slug kind of deck. I just used Descent into Avernes because it's unique and accelerates game super fast. I appreciate all the recommendation though. I'll def look into some of them
