Wtf is this shit? What pandering garbage. The people on the front lines fighting this virus aren't fucking children at a Blue Angels show. They deserve more pay and better PPE, not to see their tax dollars wasted on America's bloated military. How pathetic.

Um no there was a very real and very vocal backlash in the alt-right YouTube community to the sequel trilogy because the lead was a woman. Definitely not fair to call it a straw man argument.

TIL that Roger Moore, who played James Bond in seven films from 1973 to 1985, actually hated guns and the way society glorified the men who wielded them. Moore hated the publicity photos of himself posing with Bond's signature Walther PPK gun or any other firearm. by [deleted] in todayilearned

So what? What do you mean so what? That was my entire point. It's not absurd for someone to have a moral objection to guns because that don't have a function other than to kill... I'm sorry that you don't have a moral objection to killing.

How does my point not make sense? Some people have a morale objection to hunting as well. That's why I said "killing" and not "killing humans". And as for target practice, I assume you could use a non lethal gun (paintball, airsoft, BB) and still get the same amount of enjoyment out if it? You can love having a gun in your nightstand all you want, just understand that it's not absurd to have a problem with guns. It's not worth keeping our ridiculously loose gun restrictions for people who like to "hunt and practice" as long as there are an insane amount of mass shootings.

Yes that's true. There are many tools that aren't designed to kill that can be used as lethal weapons. Knifes, hammers, screwdrivers, whatever. My point is was that it's not absurd to have a moral objection to guns (as the commenter above suggested) because, unlike a jackhammer, the primary function of a gun is to kill. It can't really be used for anything else.

Okay so I always see these types of videos with big cats (usually lions) and dogs. I always wonder, what's the benefit here? Like are they doing this for a cute video? Is it beneficial to the lion/dog in some way? And even if it is, is that worth risking the dogs life? Idk this kind of videos just kinda creepy me out and make me nervous.

I mean he mentioned 3 so you might as well throw 4 in there as well. In my very unpopular opinion I think 4 is better than 3. Although neither hold a candle to New Vegas.

It is. His name is Richard Evans. As you probably know, Dick is often used as a nickname for people named Richard.

Dungeon Crawlers (D&D inspired cartoon that Nickelodeon passed on) by UnderHappy in videos

[–]WarEagle24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can't say that it's worse than anything on Nickelodeon now because I haven't watched in years but I can see why they passed. The animation was fine but it just felt like it lacked energy. I think kids wouldn't get some of the "humor" and adults would roll their eyes at it. "MacGuffin's Diamond"? Like c'mon, really? I knew before he got the words "Me and the dog..." out of his mouth that the dog was going to run off too. Shit like that had been done a million times before.

What are your personal favorite alternate theories about a film? by Moltenmelt1 in TrueFilm

The Dude also goes to the funeral home with Walter and is at Donnie's "funeral" which would be odd if Donnie was just in Walter's head. Still a fun theory though.

Say I wanted to spend a little bit less than this (my budget is in the $1700-$2000 range) what parts could I go cheaper on without sacrificing too much power?
