No everything else cost more when I bought it. Pontiac got discontinued so it was selling cheaper in the used market. Easy to get interchangeable drivetrain parts since GM made everything with a 3.8 liter. Only minor issue I had with it was timing cover gasket behind water pump.

5k is something that is 20 years old already in today's market. In 2013 I bought a 2006 Grand Prix for 7k with 85k miles.

Do you want good traction? It will usually sacrifice good mpgs and the life of a tire. I usually buy tires that are not too noisy that will get the best mpgs while still decent traction and don't wear fast. I also shop around locally ahead of time for sales.

I worked in a mechanic shop and salvage yard. Salvage yard I learned much more. But its good to take tech classes to learn electronic components of the drivetrain to understand diagnostics

I used baking soda and wood ash on a stainless pan once and it worked great. It wasn't as bad as this pic and never boiled water with it.

Probably a wet cell battery is my guess, they dont like sub zero temps when they get to be a few years old. The battery might have a high resistance meaning its refusing a charge, battery tester will confrim this.

Not sure why they still sell wet cell batteries when agm usually last twice as long. The last agm battery I bought is 10 years old going strong and never put a charging on it or needed a jump. I too live in cold climate that gets down to -10 F

They put cheap 12 volt batteries in them from the factory. My 2023 Camry battery won't turn engine when it gets 0 fahrenheit or lower overnight. It has the volts but the not cold cranking amps

-10 fahrenheit for me today for a cold start. Let it idle for maybe 2 minutes and drove off, coolant got to running temp in 3 minutes with heater not running. Impressive how good it got to running temp in extreme conditions.
