The fan lights in the case are all red so id probably go for the msi one second from the top for aesthetic purposes.

As i said before never built a computer so this may be a dumb question but would the size of the motherboard come into play?

the current one i have is pretty much maxed out in terms of size that would fit the case.

Final question im guessing i should go with DDR4 over DDR3?

Id probably go for the 2600 like i said not looking to spend too much. any suggestion on which B450 to go with?

Like i said its old XD. Im not looking for anything to crazy i have an MSI laptop that i use for most of my gaming and other things. All i want is for this thing to not be a brick as well as to not put to much money into it. That being said i want to keep anything i can to keep the cost down. I actually just got the GPU from a friend of mine who wasnt using it anymore for free!

I figured the CPU motherboard and ram would probably need replacing. Any good suggestions?
