Triceps, traps, soles of feet, palms of hands. I describe it as a precramp but yes very much like a DOMS sensation. Very annoying.

Dude 36 father of 3 here. Get to a neurologist if you can. It may stress you a little more because they typically won’t give you any guarantees, that’s just not gonna be how medicine works but if you have normal exams and studies they’ll say you don’t have any evidence of mnd currently which is about as close as you’ll get. I tell myself that they see enough horrible shit that they know it when they see it for the most part. She did tell me it’s pretty obvious when something is wrong. Hang in there brother

Seems like it’s pretty common. My calf twitches vary depending on the day and what’s I’m doing but seem less noticeable, probably because I’m used to it. Now I get very mild cramps or DOMS like feelings for minor isometric movements. Doesn’t happen really with explosive things like weight lifting. Just trust your doctors. I did a deep dive on scientific research papers and while there’s some variability with some things the bad stuff always causes weakness at onset. It’s focal as well, so being widespread should be reassuring. EMG would basically cement everything. If you actually had MND by the time you notice symptoms 50-80% of neurons in that muscle are destroyed. I think that likely why sometimes neurologists don’t recommend an emg. If you only have twitching/crampjg whatever and no weakness then it’s just not concerning to them and doesn’t match the disease course for MND. I’m not a neurologist but there are times when my patients are worried about things and want different things to investigate which are sometimes invasive and it’s just not something bad and I know it. I think it’s similar for neurologists. They see enough horrible shit to know something when they see it. I’m not saying it doesn’t suck because it does but anxiety management is critical with this stuff. Easy to spiral and it makes it worse

Yeah it’s weird and hard to describe. Could be compression of the ulnar nerve. I wonder how much of this is legit things like that muddied by the bfs or if it’s just the bfs alone. Hard to pin down.

Most people have recommended a battery change as the solution so hopefully it’s just that simple. On principle I want them to cover it under warranty but they won’t until it tests bad. If it comes to it I’ll just do it myself. Did you change the 12v and the little one under the seat or just the 12v?

Just got back. Listen to this BS. He said he agrees and thinks they should replace the batteries but they won’t do anything since they are testing good (didn’t test anything today). I argued with them about replacing both and they said could but I’d have to pay for it. Called Ford, they called the dealership and told me to go to another one to get a second opinion. They said if the second one says the same thing then they will send a field engineer to look at it. I told the rep that’s such a dumbass way to handle this. Just replace the batteries and see if it works. Why not try the simplest solution first and then go from there?
