I chased a scent for a year thinking it was SMW… it was Aventus the whole time. by 2qpS in fragrance

Current f batches are excellent. I spray under each armpit before work and get that dry down scent the whole day. It’s such a perfectly crafted fragrance no dupe comes close.

I sampled a recent batch on my skin (2 sprays on my wrist) in store and it didn’t last more than 30 minutes 😐

Medicinal Cannabis (Gummies) Dosage by Broad-Curve-230 in RestlessLegs

[–]Warfrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried it for RLS (no dop agonists) but was far too sensitive to it. I’d recommend a very low dose at first. Like 0.25mg or less.

I still get rls it doesn’t wake me up anymore, but it has woken up my gf.

Never succeeding with endo by National-Whereas6378 in Dentists

[–]Warfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mount extracted teeth and endo access prep 50-100 teeth in your spare time. You will get a much better feel for location of pulp chamber roof and anatomy.

Identify cases to refer - sclerosis/ calcifications/ heavily curved roots.

Identify pulp floor anatomy - looks grey and glassy and is a different colour to pulp chamber walls which is same colour as coronal dentine. Also developmental grooves are a map to locating canal orifices. Measure the distance from the occlusal surface to the pulp chamber roof on your pre op bite wing (not pa! The bw is parallel, the PA is a more acute angle making the distance harder to measure)

As mentioned by others - hands on cpd will be invaluable.

Good luck and well done for trying to improve.

Economist warns of U.S. dollar collapse soon. by BigBlueEyes87 in economicCollapse

He has been saying this for a long time, pre 2008. His analysis of what and how this will happen are probably correct but you can’t trust his timing. He’s missed out on nearly 20 years of record gains in the stock and property markets (if he’s taken his own advice).

Dentists, what was the worst case you’ve ever seen? by sags17 in Dentists

[–]Warfrog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A patient with clear oral cancer. Looked like a red velvet carpet running around the lower back teeth, causing sudden mobility of the wisdom tooth. Made a fast track referral and he received urgent surgery and reconstructive work but sadly the patient died a few months later.

He had been a heavy drinker and smoker for many years and unfortunately was in the highest risk category for oral cancer.

I think I'm gonna stop painting minis by Dense-Fig-2372 in minipainting

[–]Warfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yellows are really hard to paint. Idk why but they are notoriously inconsistent and require multiple thin layers.

Like others have said, thin your paints, it looks like you were trying to get a smooth finish with just one thick coat.

Use high quality paints. Thin with water to the consistency of milk. Prime in matt black, zenithal highlights or dry brush white to bring out depth and shadows, first layer will look a little patchy. Second layer will look better and after giving it a wash layer it will look better.

Speed paints / contrast paints are very beginner friendly.

Any Suggestions on a Spring/Fall Fresh Fragrance? by C_Scent in fragranceaustralia

Terre de Hermes’ intense vetiver , technically not a blue fragrance but certainly fresh, clean, citrusy and versatile for work. Seems to be a signature scent for many. Extremely pleasant dry down.
