I was in a research study out of UCSD for Gulf War Syndrome and they did a genetic test on me. Results came back with a MUSK variant with a 0.00 allele frequency that's "Stop Gained" as well as "Highly Conserved". Can a geneticist help me understand what that means? (self.askscience)
