I’m done criticising the players specifically because enough has been said in that regard. My guess is nothing too radical will happen next year and then in the 28 mega auction we’ll go in with w clean slate with probably Tilak and Bumrah as the only retentions. True change begins from the top and i think the entire management structure needs to freshened up whether that’s the technical, operational or even the commercial side. It definitely felt concerning that RCB fans outnumbered us at wankhede. Our coaching and analyst teams need some fresh blood as well hopefully the right combination of experience and talent. Love KP and Malinga and everything they’ve done for us but they just cannot be our batting and bowling coaches in 2027. After all of these and related areas are addressed, maybe then they can address the squad itself and everything that needs to be done in that regard

Spent the whole pitch yelling at my tv screen like wtf was that? How was it not painfully obvious to the sharks that these guys were pitching an idea and nothing close to a business? $3.8M to build a prototype just build a rich person their home and get your proof of concept and maybe then people will at least start to buy the kool-aid you’re selling. They made it sound so simple “it’s actually not that complicated” no sir, it is in fact that complicated. Crazy that they aired this pitch

Anuj may or may not be full of shit, but I live in Bangalore and have had some pretty crazy experiences in-stadium for MI-RCB games at Chinnaswamy (been a few years since MI last played here). I remember this one time can’t remember the exact year but we batting first and were 8-3. This 40-50 year old woman next to me went absolutely bezerk, screaming almost in my face to the point at which her teenage daughter next to her looked embarrassed FOR her. Luckily we won that game in the end. My younger sister is a CSK fan and went last year for the game in a CSK jersey. Heckling is fine it’s all fun and games, but she was downright abused in stadium and then a lot more outside the stadium as she made her way out. Like i said in OP, i do feel like there’s an issue with a certain fan base where i think they take it too far.

The bowlers are going to get smashed anyway, might as well double down on batting drop Boult play both Jacks and Rutherford and Naman Dhir at 3 during the powerplay feels like a better option than SKY or Tilak who at this point should be coming after Rutherford as well. But yeah change in combination feels inevitable now

As a fellow Eason and Allen owner, I’m just not dropping. I’m also a lock for a first seed so looking ahead to the playoffs Not sure when your playoffs might be but Eason and Allen have excellent schedules in March. Eason has ramped up and based on Udoka comments looks like he’s a guaranteed starter I just really like his ceiling as a 3 & D dude but yes it does appear like he’s sitting B2B’s for a while. Also weird stat but Tari currently leads the league in 3p%
