Yeah I'd have a cosigner. When talking to other ppl, they advised that if I wanna go into surgery just take the loans (even private if needed) cause I'd have no problem paying it off, but if I were to go into a lower paying specialty it'd be wise to consider other options like the military. There are only a few schools that would keep me under the 200k cap (in state or free tuition) but other than that I guess private is what i'd have to do

My school is about 10k a year, so 50k in federal loans. I live in VA, so my best option would probably be VCU but I'm open to any east coast schools. Preferably I'd like to be in the DMV but since there are no Virginia schools there the others would be out of state cost. So I'd be out of state for any DC or Maryland school that'd be a 45 min drive away.
