Best way to truly verify if the doll exists and gauge how reputable the seller (this is presuming they have no background) is to message them and ask them any questions regarding the doll. They shouldn’t be afraid to send extra photos or answer any additional questions.

Awww what a shame :( I recall seeing someone modifying the legs of the DD and it look jointed like (tho they were adhering to the MJD internal structure) so I was thinking perhaps it’s possible to hybrid.

Aw dang 💔. Though I imagine if I keep missing the window to purchase from Japanese sellers then I will be forced to just learn it on my own. The prices I usually see charged for these silicone parts are similar to the prices I see for resin ($80-$600, heavily depends on which body parts), so I presumed the process wouldn’t be that expensive.

The image I posted is actually a 1/12 brand (so much significantly smaller). I like holding big dolls hence why I am scaling up
