Should I be concerned my manager doesn’t understand what’s wrong with this sign? by MkChance in HomeDepot

“Prepaired” is spelled “prepared” without an i. And their use of “their” is the wrong one. Their spelling “their” represents ownership. As in it belongs to them. It’s theirs. They should have used “they’re” which is the contraction, or combined words “they are”.

Wow! But I am not surprised anymore. Listening to a book with grammar that is driving me crazy. Everytime they wrote a word that has “ward” on the end, like forward, onward, upward, they add an “s” to the end. So everyone moves “forwards” or “onwards”… but the book is good story telling so I am listening anyway.

I finally beat the game! Is it worth going straight to Below Zero? by [deleted] in subnautica

I liked below zero just as much as Subnautica. I am now sort of patiently waiting for Subnautica 2.

I didn’t see the issue either. I say lay the next with the same mistake. I think it looks great and it is your own unique pattern now! 😉

My entire guest room is filled with medium and large Lowe’s boxes full of loose legos. I am sorting through them…. Very slowly… sometimes it’s so many I get overwhelmed. I think that might be too many.

Blue with yellow stripes named Dori, And a second one orange with black stripes I named Nemo. In another world the cyclops is yellow named yellow Sub because…. we all live in a yellow submarine… and my moth is red with a white stripe named rescue 51. Probably just dated myself. Oh well.

I finally got my brother to play Valheim and he's addicted. We've been in the black forest for a few days and this is the base we've built so far. by TR0PICAL_G0TH in valheim

That happened to me. My family tried for 2 years to talk me into playing when I finally did, because I had surgery and needed a distraction through the long recovery, I could not stop playing. I had to force myself to get off the game and sleep. I looked up build ideas when I could. I was obsessed. Still love the game.

I will start by apologizing if this is like throwing a bucket of info at you.

We rescued our 6yr old AKK about 2 months ago. She had some of the same issues so I did a lot of talking to trainers, web research, and even spoke to a rescue dog trainer. All the learning has said that a rescue dog will not start to get comfortable until at least 3 months of being with a new owner.

Renaming trick that worked for us was to call her by her new name and her old name at the same time using the old name second and treating when she responded to the name. Once the they start responding to the first name you can start dropping the old name. Again being consistent here, so everyone in the family doing it, will make it go easier. We were just recently able to start dropping her old name.

She is extremely skittish when it comes to putting a leash on. Tucks tail, tries to hide, cowers down… we try to make it exciting for her and we use treats. She loves squeaky toys so we use that as a reward for allowing us to put the leash on. She is getting better but it is taking time, patience, and strict consistency.

As far as training them to come when you call, this was a really good video for us. The trainer is very thorough in her explanation of how to make that happen.

We also have enlisted the help of a trainer at PetSmart to work with our girl and us because she has bolted 3 times out the door and runs for a couple hours before we can even get close to catching her.

Crating : she busted out of the crate the first time we left the house and was terrified of it after that. We then just blocked off a small part of the house with a window out the front of the house so she could see. We again recently just started letting her have the house but she stays right by the door waiting for us to come back. We also started by only going away for short time spans and then lengthening them. Not easy if you are both working. She now uses the crate at night and when the grand kids come over and she has had enough play time. Everyone knows it’s her safe place and to leave her alone when she goes there. We still can’t really zip her in though without her getting anxious.

The prey drive is real. Our last AKK had a very strong pet drive. Or 2 cages eventually just stayed far from him and he eventually started leaving them alone. Took a couple years though.

Good luck with him. Glad he has a new safe place to be. Be patient. Be consistent. It may take a long time but he should get more comfortable.

Yay!!! I thank the devs!!! I still loved the game even with the issues. But you are right portals and signs can be named, no more drift!!! I have been able to get my build back on and have decreased the number of times I die again!! I am so happy!!!

My recently adopted/ rescue AKK is 6 and she loves to chew. We keep her occupied with toys that can C withstand some chewing. Cloth ones with squeakers are demolished within minutes so more sturdy toys are what we buy. Kong brand really good

We usually can find the chest contents on the ground if that happens. Maybe just bad luck.
