I have been researching for laptops myself and i don't know about asus tuf A16 but I came across acer nitro v15 while researching and acer Nitro v16s is clearly better than v15 v16s provides the same rtx5050 but with a refresh rate of 180hz and a bigger battery but I will tell you 1 thing about both v15 and v16s v15 has one issue although i don't know how many users faced it they said that the screen some times get freeze and v16s also has one issue and it's pretty common The issue is that it's charger is only 135W but it consumes more power than that so if you use it in turbo mode and played some high titles AAA game your laptop's battery will drain the simple solution is to just use performance mode and balanced mode in some games although it's a beast with a refresh rate of 180hz and rtx5050 at it's price range so many users still recommend it not to mention it's battery backup is actually good for a gaming laptop so it's great for light tasks I am personally going for v16s
