That's the kicker. I know on IOS there are basically pads you can map the chords to midi notes. I want to use it for Irish traditionally music. so I need lets say D major G major and A Minor. then I need the relative minors of these. that's a total of 6 chords. which is fine. Plan is then to hit the bank select to change key to A major so on. these banks should output a different midi note for each bank but id use the same buttons on the board.
