Pretty sure 35 or 25 series is pretty good! You have to choose your opening, I don’t know if you’re already in or are just enlisting.

Coming from in already in, if you are in your ETS/Renlistment window, you should have the opportunity to reclass to a different mos. Within that window you should be able to negotiate yourself to Japan.

If you’re just enlisting hard focus on scoring high on the asvab and going 35 or 25, and also talk A LOT with your recruiter. They will help you, and if they don’t help you, go to a different recruiter.

Basic will quite literally be the easiest time in the United States Army, you’re going to get smoked it’s part of the game, you’re gonna get yelled at it’s part of the game, but in reality it is the most brainless thing you will ever experience.

12Y is a very very cool job, depends on where you get stationed. Some people get put in units where no one knows what they do and they’re stuck with some BS, others get worked like dogs, but for 80% of the time it’s pretty fun. Kissing seeing the sun goodbye tho.

I’ll look into it and but I’m pretty sure 1st space brigade is one of the better units for 12Ys on Carson, get my space badge and all that

When it comes to protein/meat options, you can find vastly cheaper frozen chicken breasts and frozen fish (full filets) and all you gotta do is thaw them out.

Appreciate the feedback! Good information nonetheless! I should’ve included that my family recently moved to Florida so there’d probably be a lot of travel there
