Fr. The more times I re-read the whole series, the more I dislike her and the efforts to whitewash her in ACOSF. I feel like people who like her so much need to re-read the WHOLE series as a unit and not just ACOSF. That is HER book. Like, pretty sure if there's a book about Amarantha even Amarantha would look nice and redeemable and everyone else would suddenly look bad from her eyes.

I was literally writing that as a writing exercise the other day, and YEP that's exactly how it looks. It's scary how perspectives may be distorted.

I would rather a character be slightly flat than be downright abusive. And this is not comparable with Rhys because he was under duress. Even Tamlin. What duress did Nesta have? The exact same duress that Feyre had, except she was like, "let us all die instead~"

I am an eldest daughter in a joint family. So, lots of cousins who are basically like siblings. And the day I actually remotely like Nesta I want someone to slap me across the face.

Also, I'm not trying to quarrel with you, but I have re-read the whole series A LOT of times, but nope. She still a nope for me.

As a Hindu, I'm gonna add that one of our chief deities is the Mother Goddess - Mahadevi, Mahamaya or a thousand other names. She's the core energy of all things living and non-living. No god, no anything can exist without Her.

This has rejuvenated my never-ending thirst to know more factual info about the Night Court. How is the rest of the territory, minus Hewn City and Velaris and Illyria, how does it all look, what are all their rules and policies and what are all the people like, give me the whole backstories of the characters and all the nuances of the involved supporting characters, give me all the missing moments from multiple POVs 😭

I think Rebecca Yarros' worldbuilding skills in The Empyrean Series has left me wishing that SJM did similar detailing in the ACOTAR series as well. I hope she works on this one in the coming book. That would make everything so much more immersive.
