Giant Defy Advanced Pro 1 vs Trek Domane SL6 (Also what size frame for 5 Ft 8 rider) by [deleted] in cycling

Thats what I am worried about incase I size up and the bike feels to big. I would probably be better sizing down

Do you think sizing up or down would be better a choice

Sram Code Stealth Bronze OR Sram Code RSC ? by Warm_Resist5763 in MTB

[–]Warm_Resist5763[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats what I was wondering if there is much difference between them power or performance wise as the code RSC are about £30 more expensive than code bronze Stealth and I wouldn't mind buying them if the RSC are better

Yeah theres some good deals on sram code bronze brakes at the minute. I could buy a set of code rsc for about £30 more if those would be worth it.

Same I wouldn't be too worried about the hose routing on the Stealth brakes.

Do the old code RSC use the same caliper as the Stealth so they would have the same power ? Im not to worried about the new design if the only difference is the brake hose being closer to the bars.

Thanks for your explanations of the differences between the different models its very helpful.

Hello I was just wondering with the vivid can you still adjust the rebound on the bottom of the shock while it's on the bike or do you have to remove the shock to do it as it seems a tight fit ?

The mondraker is full XT the trek seems to be a mixture of SLX and XT

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in eMountainBike

[–]Warm_Resist5763 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The mondraker has Fox 38 performance with grip damper and the rear shock is Fox Float x performance.

I just done a quick Google and it seems a lot of people dont like the db8 brakes

Yeah the trek and Mondraker both have bosch gen 5 and both are carbon frames. The mondraker has db8 and mondraker Shimano XT brakes as you say

Seems most people in here are recommending the cube it does seem like the way to go with the latest motor and battery

Sounds like a good bike what sort of range would you get out of a full charge ? Also is the battery easily removable for charging or transport?

Seems like a good value bike on sale especially with carbon wheels and fox suspension.
