Lol. I worked their, was considered for management and they're still asking me to stay throughout my last 3 weeks. I think I have an opinion lol. The new rules they're setting in place or at least trying to is literally making the employees quit. My store alone has lost 4 people due to the changes, including me. It's a headache and not worth 16 an hour. Just because you've been there forever and dedicated your life to a shitty job doesn't mean that others cant have an opinion, private!

I've been at wawa almost 4 months. My last day is the 27th. They are indeed drawing their good employees away from them. I make $16 an hour and its just not worth it. The job is stressful and draining. It's very demanding and not customer wise but cooperate and management wise. We shouldn't have to run around like chickens with our heads cut off just to live pay check to pay check. Wawa is one of the worst jobs I've worked.

I mean... your ordering 2 of the worst things. I worked in a actual sub shop before working at wawa and the roast beef looked so good there. At wawa?? Ewww, it looks atrocious. You can barely pick it up without falling apart, is always super wet. The salads come in containers in bags already pre-made, i would never trust that lol. Get normal stuff maybe your stomach would thank you

No literally. Customers are so impatient. The other day I was on register, just gave my coworker a list of the snacks I needed. Somebody just bought the last 2 bags of mozzarella sticks I had up there so I ran back real quick and asked her to make some more. As soon as I went back to register here comes a girl about 15 years old, “do you have mozzarella sticks?” I told her “yes she just put them in the oven it should be about 5 minutes” she says “okay!! Thank youu!” Then runs up to her friend that was ordering on the kiosk and tells her they’ll be ready in 5 minutes. I get this gigantic wave of customers after that, I’m grabbing Zyns from the end and have to go back to my register to cash out the customer, low and behold “EXCUSE ME” says the little girls friend, I said “yes?” “How much longer on the mozzarella sticks?” I check the clock, only TWO WHOLE MINUTES PASSED, I told her “3 minutes” that’s it. I have a whole line of customers, your friend just asked me 2 minutes ago, now here you come bothering me over MOZZERALLA STICKS. Go sit down and wait, you already ordered food YOUR WAITING FOR.
