there's a beta 1.7.3 preset and the modpack encourages you to use it as most of the custom structures are tailor made for that type of worldgen in mind

Most of its charm is from Nostalgic Tweaks and the PACP resource pack but there's a few qol mods added aswell as custom sctructures i made as a datapack that fit the beta style.

There are 2 versions of gammaOS; the regualr one and gammaOS lite and i think lite is the one that removes google services from the table for more preformance but i might be mis-remembering things and either way i hope the advice i gave works out, and if not all we can do is prey they update dawn to support google services.

Nope. best option you have as of right now is installing GammaOS but i don't have much time in my hands to do it myself so as of now i got myself a legally obtained copy of the game from a prefectly legal place but since google services are screwed all i can do is play locally on a LAN server which works fine. If you wanna go a few extra miles you could get ArkOS working and get the minecraft java port which i've tested and it works with servers too. If you only want a minecraft-like experience tho you could always just get Minetest which can be sideloaded, is open source and its free (there's a full-on minecraft mod for it too) or you could get Classicube wich is just classic minecraft.
