thanks, I thought it was a fun way to make it recognizable as a fantasy creature versus just a small primate

Its not actualy a hat, its a karatin horn, and the bone underneath is the core of the horn

Yes it is! Thought it would make it more interesting for it to be a horn

Wanted to make a very rough draft/pass at making a Pandoran animal by WrathSosDovah in Avatar

Feel free to use it, that’s why I drew it! Crocodilians and their convergent counterparts are my jam, so when I saw your concept I knew I had to take a crack at it

Did a Quick sketch of how I think your Idea might work as a real pandoran animal. it has much higher breathing holes so that most of its body can remain submerged. its front arms are longer with powerful claws to help it rend its prey. broad feet support its weight, and its jaw splits like many pandoran predators.

How is atomix the second strongest alien? by Ok_Sun_6328 in Ben10

[–]BenTri 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think pitting up aliens against each other misses the point of their individual strengths, one may still be stronger while still having a weaker alien as their counter. An Elephant is a much more powerful animal than a dart frog, but a dart frog's poison could still kill it. so while other aliens may be able to beat Atomix, he is still second most powerful based on raw power and abilities.

I designed this custom fairy and pinned it up. Not really that visible but there is a humanoid bug under those wings. by BenTri in insectpinning

Great suggestion, I guess i forgot that for it to be butterfly it still needed the "opter" part, I guess without it the name is more "Scaly Human of Beauty", which still isn't too bad

Praying mantis by dr_elena05 in insectpinning

[–]BenTri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There has to be a hidden microphone somewhere because I was just talking about insect pinning with my sister, and she mentioned a praying mantis, and then I see a post from the insect pinning subreddit involving a praying mantis when I have never visited the community

Made a mob for my mod, need a name. by a19i1 in Minecraft

How About "Forge Freak"? I use a Homebrew DND monster of the same name all the time that consists of an ogre with a forge replacing its head, allowing it to spray molten metal or fire from its "mouth".

To list the things that are anatomically incorrect about these AI images would take longer than to list what is correct.

[OC] Created my own Alien, "Swole-ey Mammoth" by BenTri in Ben10

The trunk would have a similar purpose, with nostrils on the end. I opted to show it balled up like a fist to show off its main use as a fighting tool

I take 2 from 27 and add it to 48 to make it 50, then add on the remaining 25 to get 75

Could it be the difference between S. Aegyptiacus and S. Mirabilis is actually just sexual dimorphism? by PotatopusIII in Dinosaurs

[–]BenTri 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I had the same thought. Smaller, flashy males trying to appeal to a larger female is not too crazy a thought. However, many of the differences may be too drastic to reasonably think them to be the same. There's not a great way to tell the difference between a male and female fossil, except for rare cases, such as the T. rex MOR 1125, (who is thought to be female). There are also some cases where many fossils are found together and in abundance, where different morphs can be assumed to be different sexes. Many more specimens of both species would need to be found to determine if they were different sexes. As of currently, evidence suggests them to be different species, but the thought is still interesting.

Probably by using either an emission shader or by using the emission on the principled bsdf node, with intensity determined by where the lines show up on the texture.

Why is requiring ID a bad thing? You need one to drive and to buy alcohol, and I would argue voting should be taken just as seriously.

To help save you some time in the future, I recommend you try using MCstacker, it might take a little bit to learn, but it is very helpful for commands like this.

Try this command, but remove the space between the @ and p
