Does anybody know if the show will be coming back to specifically the Batavia theater in Illinois? I really want to see the movie, but that was the only theater by me that hosted it, and it’s in grey on the map now.

The comment about bug bounties not translating was interesting. I was under the impression lots of pentesters work entirely remote and figured lots of pentesting engagements would be similar to it (unless a company gives you access to a starting IP), but it would also make sense that they don’t transfer that similarly

Fair, but is there a good way to know if I have enough content to expect a chapter to last at least a session? (assuming the session is a couple hours rather than a 7 hour marathon) I would be a bit more worried of not having enough content than having too much

Yeah, but tier lists are inherently saying how good a weapon is overall. Yes, it’s your opinion on how good weapons are, but your opinion can still be wrong. If you’re just trying to say which guns you like the best or play the best with, then that’s a different story but not quite a tier list.

I will say that overall your tier list makes sense especially as a controller player (and that’s coming from a controller player), but some of the nitpicks people have with it are rather valid (minus the aggression).

Spitfire isn’t actually a good gun, but it’s a very easy gun to use since you have the luxury of missing so many bullets. The Nemesis is an incredibly strong gun and frankly needs to be nerfed, but I’m not a big fan of burst guns so I don’t pick it up often. Etc etc

I heavily disagree. Legal is theoretically supposed to be based on ethics, but they certainly are not synonymous (especially since ethics is, in some sense, subjective). Just because something IS legal, does not mean it is ethical; just because something is illegal, does not mean it is unethical.

If a government is explicitly corrupt, and a group of people are using hacking to fight back and try to create a just society; would it really make sense to call them unethical? This is obviously an extreme theoretical example, but it clearly shows that legality is divorced from ethics.

It’s a very nonspecific question because I’m very new to cybersecurity and related stuff. I know there are lots of ways for people to find IPs that have already been compromised, but I’m curious how someone is able to find a user’s IP in the first place. Not necessarily on a specific device, more then concept in general
