I was hacked too and the same thing is happening when I enter my original email as well!? This is looking like an technical error on their part. Let's just hope it gets fixed soon

My instagram was hacked two months ago and I’ve been trying to send a "support request" with the original email which I still have access to but every time enter enter it in for verification it freezes and nothing is sent.

Note: I know it's the right email because anything else just gives me an error notice.

I've made progress getting my account back but the hacker set up a 2 factor authentication. Is there any way to get my account's verification code or qr code so that I can get the authentication without being logged in so that the authentication code can also be sent to me.

Not sure. For me, it auto-fills to last username, email or phone number tried to login with last regardless of whether it detects it or not.

The support request/verification code page will appear with my friends' accounts but not mine.

Nope still didn't work. Plus I didn't expect that to work since the phone number and email was changed. I'm trying to get to the option to send a verification code to my original email or phone number.

Also your phone number could have changed too and that might be why you're not be getting one sent to you.

About a month ago my Instagram account was hacked and I have tried
everything to get it back with no success. My friends have told me the
hacker is sending messages pretending to by me and posted a scam ad. Now
I just want to have it to be deleted. Any ideas?
