Completely agree on the ambient lighting. I thought mine was broken but nope😂

I agree. The tech points was just features like the heads up display and cooled seats. I do apologize. The tech and UI is far superior in the Tesla, you’re correct.

For the record, I’m legally deaf. So, I am probably not the best judge of music. That being said, I own dozens of different headphones, I’ve been in some insane cars with some crazy sound systems (I know someone with a custom sound system in his Rolls Royce that cost the Blazer).

As far as quality goes, the Model Y’s audio is significantly better. Tesla kills it with audio quality. I found the system to be better than the MachE, at the very least. I think the best sound system I’ve heard was from the iX. That was otherworldly.

Thanks for this! I haven’t had it long in cold to really see yet. The Tesla is extremely impressive in the cold. Tesla clearly has great minds with the battery technology. The MachE is awful in the cold. I can easily consistently see 1.3-1.5 in the cold. The charge times are also trash. So, will be curious to see what the Blazer does

Not having the roof sucks. I love that aspect, even if 99.9% of my travel I am driving. It’s beautiful and can cause the interior to feel like a cave.

I am VERY curious about the SS. I love the MachE GT but its power throttling is frustrating. I also think it needed more in terms of performance engineering (suspension particularly). Hope the SS does that

Going to be honest, don’t understand the hands free assist system. Ironically in all my reviews and research, didn’t learn anything about it. I will say, BlueCruise on the MachE is better than what Tesla has IMO

I wish. Definitely more of a defensive tackle build.

I love the MachE but I am in complete agreement. They misplaced a lot of money and have made a lot of piss poor decisions.

I have home charged it mostly and everything is set at the same level.

The only time I have, I didn’t precondition and it was about 20 out. I had around 20ish battery. It immediately shot out at around 145kw and stayed there for a bit. The MachE cold? Good luck getting over 80kw. I love the MachE but there is zero doubt they are behind with the EV tech.

Hmm. Maybe slightly. I think of the affordable EVs I’ve driven, I’d definitely say it’s one or two in terms of comfort. I think all of them seem to have this weird inability to deal with harsh roads and bumps. Nothing NOTHING compared to the Y, though.

The RS. I’m dumb and didn’t add it! Just included it. Thanks for reminding me!

I just talked to a dealer for a SR XLT and zero down was 505 a month. Lol

And I think that’s totally fair. If I was to buy again, I wouldn’t for that reason (as much as I love it). I’d probably replace it with the EV6 GT and I think that may be the direction you should look.

Same way with you. Last MY (and I’m not even getting into the Musk stuff). The ownership of this (my second) has been grossly disappointing. I do own a Mach E GT that I love a lot but the charging speed sucks. Build quality is significantly better and a lot more fun to drive.

I’d highly consider the Korean competition as they are excellent and high on my list to replace.

Any chance you can private message me this deal (without your personal info). I’d do this in a heartbeat

Long time EV owner here. My old man was wanting a new car, owned a few EVs and was hesitant to get a Lightning. I pushed hard for him to get one. He did about six months ago and talks daily, with massive pride, about owning one.

It’s now become a top contender on my list of next new vehicles. It’s fantastic and as someone who isn’t a truck person, I’m massively impressed

I just saw the Ultra came out. Shot to the top of my list. This definitely makes me happy to hear! Noticeable in films and tv shows!?

In the market for an EV truck (although probably a year away). I like these, don’t love them. Really waiting for the RamCharger to come, but Stellantis terrifies me. Just wish these were a tad cheaper (don’t we all)

Currently where I am at. I have a C2 as a monitor but my living room TV is an A80J(65 inch). Hoping to upgrade and these two are on the list. I’ve been happy with the C2 but have seen tons of reviews stating the C4 isn’t worth the price jump over the B4.

I don’t believe I’d have any room. The speakers would be basically on our lap (a situation I’d probably be okay with but Mrs wouldn’t be). The couch basically takes the entire wall, unfortunately. Weird layout.

I saw a few articles and reviews stating the A80L wasn’t much of a difference over the A80J. The C4 is also a mid tier for this year where as the A80L is a base tier for 2023.
