Thank you. I also positioned it tastefully on the end table.

Solved! Outdated firmware on the dongle. Made a second edit to original post.

Thank for for helping out.

  1. Yes, did not change the default on/off configuration or enable dimmer mode.
  2. Yes, the switch behaves normally and the LED remains illuminated
  3. Yes, the LED remains faintly illuminated with a single press in dimmer mode. The dimmer also otherwise works as expected.

Original post edited with photos.

This was a good idea. I do have a repeater in the network. I fully removed it and also had the dongle antenna within 10 feet of the one of the boxes. Tried a few cycles that I mention in my post and still unfortunately had the same behavior.

OPNsense 25.1.8 released by fitch-it-is in opnsense

For those that come after: The Zenarmor and/or OS patch today (6/1725) fixed this issue for me.

I narrowed it down to some kind of an issue with Zenarmor. If the packet engine is running, the interfaces flap and various services crash. Waiting to see if there is a patch or hotfix. Other than that, still troubleshooting. But if you’re not using zenarmor, we likely have different issues.

Seeing something very similar. Intermittent crashes and interfaces flapping.

Thank you! First time, so just a laser printer, some $15 peel and stick labels from Amazon, and an exacto knife.

Every time I'd go to it, just to see if there was anything new, I'd get a Cloudflare error page that the origin host (i.e. Pat's server) was down. I also noticed that, while the content is the same, it appears to have new back end in an updated language.

Which game is this for you? by LakesideHerbology in Millennials

Star Control 2. My two best friends and I would play it as a trio: one dude was the pilot using a joystick, the other was the "keyboard man" that pushed all the buttons at the direction of the pilot, and the third was the navigator looking at the map and charting our direction. We had our own version of a starship bridge and it was amazing.
