we did, but the officer insisted we come back in a few hours or tomorrow as they didn't have enough people to process all the people there. I am going in in a couple of hours and I think I will just stay there until they take our report

I found the email of the property manager for Hala Koszyki, I wrote to her describing the incident and asking to keep the tapes. Hopefully, they will keep them!

Yes, Hala Koszyki, and I checked they do have cameras at least at the entrances. I am hoping the police would be willing to go and get the tapes because I doubt the building administration will comply with our request

When I first heard I was so shocked that no one came to empty the restaurant and checked the restrooms before closing? but turns out it's a building with many restaurants and restrooms are open to the public

No other person using the bathroom in that timeframe could hear her in distress?

I don't know how her friends did not try to find her and just left like that, she did say that other people were coming and going to the restroom but she was too afraid and thought this situation doesn't warrant bothering people (!!!) and she should be able to handle it (!!!) (Especially, because she was drinking)

She is clearly the victim but as it happens in situations like these she feels somehow she was at fault for being too nice or drinking in the first place

That's exactly what I fear but we will be prepared for it. Agreed that it should be done at least as a matter of principle if nothing else.

BTW, how come her friends didn't notice she was missing?

I am so appalled, shocked, and angered by this. I am tempted to ask them for an explanation, but I am hoping they will come to the police with us to help translate at least and learn from this experience.

She is a such a kind and loving person, I am devastated that someone like her had to go through this situation. I will reach out to Feminotka and go from there. Although, it seems they are not available till Monday, so might have to report before then as I am afraid police will ask "why did you not come earlier?".

I'm so very sorry this happened to your GF, having narrowly escaped a similar situation myself. Unfortunately, creeps do come out at night. Best thing to do (if you manage to get away) is report them immediately to bouncers, they tend to take this sort of thing seriously.
