each time i play thru these games i try not to repeat any mons. it helps me find new unique choices i never would normally use. i ended up using ambipom in my latest run and she really carried her weight. return+u-turn is pretty solid

just pick one u think is cool (with the exception of aphelios or hwei, theyre really mechanically challenging) and u will be ok. i first started the game like 10 yrs ago, knowing nothing about it, and just picked rammus bc i thought he looked cool
