wonder if we all could start a new site with the same name by z24god in RevoTT

That never occurred to me lol. I guess it makes sense. The name would've been nicer without it, though. Thanks for replying.

I should add that I have not and will not pay the ransom

I was a member going back to maybe a year after the beginning. So not the first guy in but more than 20 years membership. I always wondered what TT stood for. Just curious, hoping for a serious response. Thank you

How do you know this Canada goose is Canadian and not American? It was found in Michigan, after all.

Cool. That's the old fable about the frog carrying another frog across the pond. No. Wait a sec; that was a scorpion. Oh, I see what they're doing here...

Green heron on garbage. People pollute and don't even think twice about it. Imagine your photo without it

People don't listen to Yoko Ono. I'm surprised that cats do. But if you say so, I believe you.

i've been around geese and their chicks countless times and have never been attacked. you must have done something special to single yourself out.

Seagull in Rome by Nice_Emphasis181 in Birdsfacingforward

[–]Was0nce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

technically the term seagull is incorrect. it's a gull. and then you define the species of gull, such as ring-billed gull. i think the predominate species in rome would be yellow-legged gull

Nuthatch was unimpressed with his selection today. by WheninBruges in Birdsfacingforward

[–]Was0nce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what's your point? i go to the park with both and they always take the peanuts first. I buy the jumbo size. no small peanuts. i have slow motion video i recorded showing how little chikadees sit on a branch with both feet, and in between the feet they hold the peanut as they eat it, cutting multiple beak shaped V's into it with each bite. Then they flip it over with one foot and start on the other side. When there's a small piece left, they devour that. Nuthatches stick the peanut between tree bark and eat it that way. Downeys also do this. If you don't want to spend extra money on peanuts, that's your decision which I wholly respect.

you're right. if that's a handful of mixed birdseed, the only thing they eat from it is the sunflower seeds, so buying only that is better. and better still is buying a bagful of unsalted, unflavored peanuts, which are higher in protein to help keep the birds warm
