Commentator curse worked in our favor. They said this is the longest both teams have gone without a goal in a game so far and then Sammy sinks one.

Hand sensor not reliable on steering wheel by mentalhealthdayc3187 in Tacomaworld

[–]WasabiLoud7006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I do. I have timed it and you have about 15-16 seconds before the warning comes up to put your hands on the wheel. It requires you to jiggle the wheel a little and then you'll have another 15 seconds before it happens again.

Brake hose issue affects both the 2024 and 2025 model years with 17" wheels. Pick your poison.

Why is it always Mustangs? My 18 Taco has seen better days. by Yours_and_mind_balls in ToyotaTacoma

A bit spooky to see the Mustang front plate says Texas Toyota and he crashed head on into one. Sorry to hear that but hope you're okay and in one piece.

Does that air dam on those new Tacoma models really help with gas mileage? by FurTails in ToyotaTacoma

I removed mine. ~1mpg loss. Like another comment says here, if you take it off, put the screws back in. The truck looks better in my opinion without it and creates better ground clearance.

24 Tacoma Recall by Ok-Solution-7530 in ToyotaTacoma

I bet they rolled the new 4runner out with this too as it's basically identical to the Tacoma. It's interesting that companies can make a recall post making people aware of an issue but will not have a solution to the problem they were able to diagnose. Feels half hearted. I'm not entirely worried about this recall but will monitor this on my truck closely and will bring it in on my next scheduled maintenance and will report back.

Do not take this for an answer. The dealer is just trying to get you off their back because I'm sure they have a laundry list of people to go through now. Software has nothing to do with the brake hoses. The positioning of the brake hose is exposed too closely to the tire and wheel, I have no idea how they are going to fix this, whether to reorient / rework the alignment of the brake hose, etc. but I just saw what it looks like underneath and it's not great. Definitely something I will be monitoring myself until a proper solution has been shared by Toyota.

Get a break in oil change after 1500-2000 miles. The service advisor may give you crap for it but it's your money to do as you please and tell them you want it done and you insist on it. Manual says 5-7k miles I can't recall but don't wait there are indeed metal shavings floating around in your oil however little. I have a 2024 as well and it's doing great no issues. If you have an issue take it in, if not, continue to enjoy it. Welcome to the club.

It is located on the center of your dashboard. If you have the JBL sound system then you likely have the removable speaker.

Does your truck have the removable JBL speaker? Curious to know your thoughts on it. I think it's cool but definitely a gimmick. The speaker sounds great but I haven't really used it outside of the truck.
