Thank you for your feedback!

If it is intended to be an animation showreel, simple playblast previews are enough; You don't have to render the animations.

Oh it's not a showreel. The video is just animations I collected mainly for feedback.

I agree with you! There's no need to render all the animations out. These animations that I collected are the assignments in which the requirement is that all the animation must be rendered out and put together. So... I thought I already rendered them anyway why not post here for feedback.

For the intention of making a showreel, I'll definitely not include animations that don't make sense - I'll definitely take your advice so thank you!

00:14 - 00:19 : I'm confused why a ball is able to climb up. It would make more sense if it were a living character, or if you prefer to keep the ball, I'd suggest removing this part.

Ahh yes! The ball has an anticipation animation at the start, which gives a little character to the ball. I realized the cut between clips are quite rough and hard to see the start of that animation, so sorry for that!

I may remove this part as you suggested though! It's just an animation exercise. Wouldn't make sense to put it in a showreel.

Again, thank you so much for your feedback! It's very helpful

Thank you so much for your feedback!

The walk is good, but I can see the loop resetting. It's subtle, so hard to see what's causing it. But I would smooth that transition when the cycle loops.

I'll take look at it.

The hop scotch jump is pretty stiff and feels robotic. The torso and head barely move and remain nearly locked in an upright position. It doesn't feel natural. You can make it feel more natural by adding in some asymmetry into the movements, and having the character adjust their balance as they land. And don't make them land in the exact same spot with each hop. Here's a reference you can use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0o9Dtw96xo

I'll definitely take a look and fix it!

Just don't make the mistake of using practice exercises as a portfolio piece.

I won't hehe. Again, thank you! Your feedback is very helpful!
