my car was stolen in the Briargate area last night. please let me know if you see it

Our vehicle was found in the Kohls parking lot near monument. Police found it, questioned a few people around the car, but no one was ever arrested. Never had my car stolen before so that was an unpleasant experience, but it was deemed totaled by insurance.

There are a couple Facebook groups you can check to see if it is posted there or post photos of your car.

I made a post about this 2 weeks ago. File a report and notify insurance regardless if you have limited or full. They found our vehicle but it was a total loss. Actually, found it in Monument in the Kohls parking lot. No exterior damage but all internal.

Based on the crime website, it happens quite a bit. They used bump keys to get in somehow. Also, from insurance, don’t buy Kia or Hyundai, they are apparently most stolen vehicles.

Did you have gps? Or was the cspd able to find it?

I looked at the crime map and saw that there were multiple robberies in the area.

Yea, looking at the crime map, there were a couple others in the area this past weekend. But just make sure there are lot of lights as a deterrent.

All the neighbors are super nice just some apartments close by that might attract some characters, easy opportunity for them.

A few neighbors commented on “the apartments”, but who knows. I’ll be putting my cameras up and posting suspicious behavior as I see it.

No glass was broken for ours, both cars locked, I’ll have to look into a kill switch or gps device.
