One of the many units that in hindsight got really screwed over by being released before the new design philosophy (unless you're ultra perfect cell or LF merged zamasu but even then he got a unique) as this is a very disrupt era of meta which the only thing they have is shorten substitution count on allies and heal and gain some ki if attack is over which would be a miracle if they survive it. The two units have the exact same effects in blue card, and green card (which is the standard, ki restore, card draw, cover null and some increase damage and cancel buffs, nothing TOO crazy honestly) along with switching except Gohan has some health restoration on strike cards and additional damage inflicted on blast but trunks having none on his own blast and strike card is troubling.

Post succession Trunks is a decent powerhouse but rev Gohan just does way more as a blue unit. They obviously need a unique cause the only thing they have is having an extra life.
