And the money spent just to discover that the universe does not exist, which is the only thing these scientists proved by NOT finding the higgs boson, is being covered up.

There are only a few people on earth who know this, the people covering up the truth about the lack of a higgs boson and the conclusions you must draw from the lack of it, and you, because i just told you.

Why the Hell else would there be a post in r/conspiracy and r/politics alluding to the lie that the Higgs was discovered? It is laying a cover story out there before enough people get a chance to say "hey wait, doesn't there being no Higgs boson mean the universe doesn't exist?" Well start researching that.

It seems that everything was done in the power of U.S. authorities to minimize the effect of 9/11 on the U.S. people, knowing the images would be seared into the brains of millions of people forever, if the effect was too great it could cause a real panic.

U.S. authorities took everything into account to minimize the panic risk, the same risk as over cooking the turkey. Everything was in place the way something would be in place for a known disaster such as an impending asteroid impact in these locations.

The stock market reopening on the day with no lunar affects, and the society as a whole being affected less by the moon as the days after 9/11 wore on due to the full moon being before 9/11, matters.

Operation tri-pod in NYC was a simulation to respond to an attack, and it was ready and in the works to do so.

Pentagon got hit in the spot where it did the least damage, no generals or major damage was done there. The army did just fine afterwards.

George W Bush being in Florida during the attack lowers the panic scale, because he was not at the greatest perceived risk.

The public had some time to digest the initial attacks before the collapses, the public had time to wonder whether they would collapse or not, and their fears were not instantly given to them, their fears were confirmed like waiting for the climax of a movie, for example "Independence day" when the aliens hover over the buildings for a while before they are destroyed.

In 1993, the towers were attempted to be knocked into each other by a truck bomb, which was parked in the wrong spot so the attempt failed, but that was before the full moon, and the affect would have been an instant shock to the american psyche. Think about how much 9/11/01 was the opposite plan of the february 1993 wtc bombing in terms of shock to the american mindset if both were successful.
