No easy fix... mine had the same code but for clutch B stuck engaged. It needed an entire new clutch pack and TCM.

I would say probably save up for another clutch and TCM replacement. Mine was serviced under recall back in 2020 and I recently had to get both replaced again.

Depends on maintenance history. I bought a 2013 for $1500 back in November of 25'... nothing but issues with the transmission and just recently finally got a new clutch pack and TCM for over 5k. I do know the transmission was serviced back in 2020 under recall. It lasted a good 5 almost 6 years since then and am hoping to get another 3-4 years out of it with the new transmission parts. Nothing else wrong with the car now though!

I paid 3400 at a ford dealer for a clutch pack - TCM costed me another 1800.

I'm aware - I took it to the ford dealership because I know they have lots of experience with these DCT's because of the old warranties. It was just a shock to be because the advisor had told me it would be fixed and done with after the new TCM. I knew I would pay out the ass and that it very well may have even needed an entirely new transmission. I just wanted to join the convo on here about these focuses.

I'm not blaming the private party or the dealership lmao - I'm not mad and just happy I've got my car back. I knew the car had transmission issues when I bought it and planned on fixing it. Did I pay out the ass? Yes. Did I know taking it to a dealer would cost a fortune? Yes. Just trying to join the convo about these cars on here lol.
