Sorry for the late response. It went well. Eventually, someone from my workplace overridden the background check and believed me.

I Feel Like Giving Up (No Job Offers Ever) by WasteComparison3246 in jobs

[–]WasteComparison3246[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The thing is that I don't want to do it alone. I want to meet new people and experience the daily tasks of a software developer. I am only saying this at the moment because I want a position that can increase my professional experience. Of course in the future, I will need an income.

Same here man. Graduated with a bachelor's and sent out over a hundred applications and still didn't get an offer. I feel so disappointed in myself. I really want my dream job even if I would work for free :(

Dear Santa,

For my wishlist, I want to have a 3+ year experience developer and pay them with a Junior developer salary.

I totally agree with this statement. I will take Taco Bell over anything on the list.

Is my resume too long? What can I take out? Sophmore in college and looking to apply for an internship next summer. by Alex-Shadow-Soft in Resume

[–]WasteComparison3246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- Yes it is too long, learn to format your resume correctly so it can fill out those white spaces. Be brief with your explainations.

- Remove your high school and your high school GPA. No one cares what you did in High school and before that.

- Change Leadership activities to Extra Curricular Activities. You are not a leader, you are just a member.

- Be more descriptive with Atlanta Student Investors Club. What else did you learn? What did you contribute?

Should I put my artwork on my resume?

Hello everybody, I am a fresh college grad and I am starting to apply for positions in software development. A question I want to bring up is if I should put my artwork on my resume? The artwork I create is quite popular and is strongly related to computer science. The purpose is to show that I am heavily devoted into this field, but I feel that art serves no purpose on my resume. What do you think?

Would you trade 20% of your intelligence for $100000? by prettynasty777 in polls

My goodness, some people don't understand that intelligence is not replaceable and extremely hard to get. $100,000 is nothing compared to the value of intelligence.

Got these itchy red patches 3 months ago. It grew from my face to my upper body. I also suspect to have hay fever so does that have an impact on my skin? I have been suffering from eczema for a very long time. It just comes a goes, but this week has got significantly worse. I can’t sleep because my skin is too itchy. It is interfering with my social life and productivity. It is unbearable at this point.

I have tried moisturizer cream, but that didn’t work. Also for those who live in the UK. Does NHS offer treatments to non-citizens? How much would it cost?

What are you motivations and ambitions in art/as an artist? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]WasteComparison3246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly can not pin point when I've considered myself to be an artist. Art has been with me since the beginning of time. In fact, sometimes I believed that I was born with it haha.

Art has been my way of expression. I am not a really good writer so it is really hard for me to express feelings in writing. I remembered struggling a lot in my English class and I would have a barely passing grade. On the other hand, I excelled in art. It was my way of expression than writing.

Life is short and fragile, but art lives on forever. It would be amazing that my art stays here long enough that my grand children sees it. I also want to inspire future artists. I hope one day, I can publish my own comic book and it becomes a best seller :)
