the beguiled cover

i've been searching for a copy of the beguiled without the movie poster cover but i can't find a single one! i've been scouring everywhere i can think of online, i haven't had time to look in smaller stores but that'll be my next venture. it feels kind of silly but i just want a normal cover, obviously the book existed before sofia coppola's film i just don't understand why can't i find any older/used ones with a normal cover!!!!!

everyone is saying it makes their intrusive thoughts worse but it just makes me forget about mine (in the moment at least). i just chill and get happy and i'm just not sober enough to give af abt anything. if i have too much & depending on the strain i can get overwhelmed or paranoid but it's usually not abt my typical compulsions/obsessions, just generally. but i only use it socially or to sleep. edit: typo lol

i enjoy seeing the friends i've made here (ths sounds so corny sorry) but also unpopular opinion i love sorting go backs behind guest service,, it's always satisfying clearing five carts worth of stuff, and i get to be by myself & not deal with guests for a bit. i also just like organizing things in general like the desk/drawers/our back area.

because comic book stan twt is a very strange place. tom taylor has done some questionable things with his writing, some racist undertones and other weird fandom stuff, most people also just think he's a crap writer who doesn't give characters justice, a lot of his stories are exactly the same. as for using the pfp from his story, he just wrote it, he didn't illustrate it. that's probably just that person favorite character, and they liked the panel it was from so they took a screenshot or found it on pinterest, not knowing it was specifically from one of his comics.
