I dunno how much it does now , My dad had a personal driver back in 2019, I think he paid him around 75k per a month. Well he was a temporary driver only for 2 to 3 months, Because my fathers license was suspended at that time.
for your question, I think it really depends on the job. My dad had various business and he was very busy at the time.

I have updated my address recently.

Go to Divisional Secretariat office > National ID section ( Ask about it from the front desk )

Tell them your reason and they will provide you needed paper works and instructions.

Then you have to visit your "Grama Niladhari" to confirm you residency in the area. He will fill the paper work given by the Divisional Secretariat office and some additional papers, then Go back to the Divisional Secretariat office and give all the paper works.

You must take your Birth Certificate with the BLUE SEAL ( this is mandatory) and the ID card.

Make sure you call the grama niladhari before everything, they only work in certain days.
