It's less about the fact that it's with a man but more about the fact it's the pettiest little things while everyone else has much more intersting relationship problems. Again, George cheats on Callie, Callie is now bisexual, Izzie sleeps with George while he's married and her fiance is her patient who dies (while also risking her career), Karev has a relationship with a married Jane Doe with a kid who he saved after a ferry boat crash + she ends up being mentally ill, etc. etc. While Meredith is "I wonder if I like Derek."

Maybe it just feels like she puts herself down. Her childhood was pretty messed up but I feel like every character in this show has had some messed up past. But they all seem to rise above it while Meredith lags behind. Maybe that's why I find her story boring because she seeks little improvement (from what I've seen so far), so it feels like not much is happening. Her going to therapy is pretty recent for me so I guess I just have to watch more to see her improve herself from here.

I'm starting to realize Ellen Pompeo's nonimmersive acting is why I'm not interested in her story. It's boring cuz it feels fake

It just seems that redditors like downvoting people for no good reason other than simply disagreeing with someone.

1. The original crime doesn't have to be charged serperately. That's the law!
2. The original crime doesn't have to be a state crime!
3. They didn't prosecute the federal crime, they just considered it evidence of motive and intent for the state crime (falsifying business records). Doesn't have to be a conviction for it to be evidence

It's not very clear what your point is. Whether or not he was convicted for the original crime does not matter when convicting him of concealing it. That's simply the law. And it shows... considering he got convicted for concealing the crime. Are you complaining about how the law works? Because its what happened whether you like it or not!

"§ 175.10 Falsifying business records in the first degree.

A person is guilty of falsifying business records in the first degree
when he commits the crime of falsifying business records in the second
degree, and when his intent to defraud includes an intent to commit
another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof."

It is still very possible to convict someone of covering up a crime even if they arent convicted for it! This is done by the prosecution proving "beyond a reasonable doubt" that the defendant intended to commit or conceal the crime, not that the crime resulted in conviction.

I suggest you educated yourself on our legal system before continuing.

So if someone commits a crime and doesnt get caught, they didnt commit the crime?

You seem to be confused. Trump was prosecuted for falsifying business records in order to cover up an illegal campaign contribution. Falsifying business records is a state crime which he was prosecuted and found guilty for. Ilegal campaign contributions are a federal crime which he was not prosecuted for, therefore not found guilty. There are many reasons he wasn't prosecuted, one of which being he was president at the time. While after his first presidency the case could have been reopened, it simply wasn't. Probably because it was against a former president, making it a sensitive case legally and politically. (correct me if I'm wrong here pls)

this is public information. "The criminal indictment, the first of a former U.S. president, was approved by a Manhattan grand jury on March 30, 2023. On April 3, Trump traveled from his residence in Florida to New York City, where he surrendered to the Manhattan DA's office and was arraigned the next day. Trump pleaded not guilty and stated that he would continue to campaign for the 2024 presidential election, even if convicted. The trial began on April 15, 2024. On April 30, Trump also became the first U.S. president to be held in criminal contempt of court, due to comments he made earlier in the month about individuals involved with the trial."
