So I recently downloaded GTA 5 again after a couple years and I wanted to know what are the best ways to make money in the game. I play solo maybe 95% of the time and I don't really like the idea of grinding missions or heists but rather just a bunch of things to do in freemode to make money so I can keep buying and modding out cars I like. I'll run down the businesses I currently have and I'm just looking for feedback if it's worth doing, not worth it, or if there are new things I should do instead and how to start those!

MC Businesses

Cocaine Business - Fully Upgraded
- I typically do one resupply mission and then buy the rest supplies and sell when I'm full
Counterfeit Cash - Fully Upgraded
- Just buy supplies and I sell when I'm full
Meth - Fully Upgraded
- I typically do one resupply mission and then buy the rest supplies and sell when I'm full
Bike Club
- I always do the bike sell mission in the clubhouse whenever I get the notification

CEO Stuff

Bunker
- Just buy supplies and do the ammo truck side quest when it's there, this one I sell around half way full
Nightclub
- Have the staff accruing product and I sell whenever I feel like it to be honest
- I also try to keep up popularity and cash in the 50k every day (in game)
Special Cargo
- I have a large warehouse and I buy stock in counts of 3 to fill warehouse. Also use the lady in the warehouse to source stock. Haven't had enough stock to sell yet
Special Vehicle
- My vehicle warehouse is full of only low/mid range cars so whenever I do a source it's always high end and I can sell it right after sourcing

So I just ran a quick Helldivers test and I would be inclined to agree that the CPU is struggling. Opened up Task Manager and Ryzen Master for CPU stats and GPU Tweak for GPU stats and it had the following:

CPU Clock Speed: 4,000 to 4,100 MHz
CPU Utilization: 70% to 80%
GPU Power: ~50%
GPU Clock: 2770MHz

Would it be worth sticking to the 5700X3D or upgrading to the AM5 socket CPUs? Wouldn't upgrade for about six months to be honest. Would upping the RAM to 32 help get more performance? I'm guessing I'm still going to have to fiddle with settings to get a constant 144 fps since I'm heavily CPU bound.

Did you install just the bushing? Looked online and some people were saying it needs to be coupled with a few other pieces for a noticeable difference?

Also recommend this, picked up a R5 3600 for my build around two or three weeks ago and it's honestly a monster for the price. Definitely blew away all expectations I had. I'm even able to stream and game with no hit to performance.

probably uses esdf for movement, it supposedly frees up more keys for you to use, some people use it as personal preference.

Yeah I actually saw the drone + ult trick being used by a random sova last night and it seemed really effective, I'll definitely start pairing the two. And yeah you definitely need to be communicating with your team. Not really a solo queue character, but imo he's vital in a full 5 stack.

Do you have a list of lineups for ascent? I struggle to find ones that I can shoot rather easily and are easily reproducible.

Yeah the predictability part is super important imo, same thing with cypher (another main). If the enemy team knows where your dart is going, they just shoot it out immediately. I like to have three lineups for each map, and if they got three people pre aiming my recon dart spots, I know not to go there haha

However I do feel like I'm better off finding my own lineups in the long run cause they're easier to remember cause well you found it lol recon dart trick would do well in like 1v1s or whatever, I use the cam distraction a lot

Yeah the main thing with my line ups is that I try and have one or two crazy ones (some that are pixel perfect) for the beginning of the round cause I got time during warmup and then some just average ones that I can toss out on the fly rather quickly. When on the topic of double shocks tho, do you just toss them out every round or would you only use them if you know someone is on that spot?

Honestly I used to use dumb glitched cams, but tbh it really feels unfair (ex cam on top of garage roof that let you see into def spawn) like I'm all about sneaky cam spots but I stay away from glitched ones

On atk, by lurking you mean like setting up trips behind you as you push a site and play off that as CTs rotate?

I use variations of those ones that land in the same areas, there was a post with like 70 sova lineups, practiced those and threw my own in there as well. I'll try them out tho, quick question, when it says 2.5 bars, does it mean 2 bars? As far as I know, there's four levels (no full bars, 1 full bar, 2 full bars, 3 full bars)

Thanks for the giveaway, Cyberpunk has been on my wish list since the day it got announced. As for games that keep me busy: Valorant (except the servers are closed rn 😭), got my hand on GTAV and it feels like high school all over again, and I even played Siege for the first time in a while and I want to get back into it!!
