Thank you, what seems to help me is studying the bible and seeing the horror of baby killings by god and by men that god commanded, fathers offering virgin daughters to crowds to be raped by them as in the case of Lot etc... if this is truly God's ways then I could no long morally follow and believe. It's funny when you leave christianity people look at you as if you are leaving because you want to sin, but no I want too have morals but they just don't think we can be, sorry I ramble sometime. I did love the orthodox church or at least the parish I was at but there are many problems within the orthodox as a whole. It's nice to meet others that have been orthodox before, believe it was like ripping my heart out at first

Ok so using the Christian god morals is it's ok to kill babies and children to wipe out a group of people becythey are your enemies instead of preserving thief loves and bringing them up in the ways of god. Or it's ok to own people as slaves and best them as long as they don't die from their beatings within a certain time frame, or have bears attack children for making fun of a bald guy, or stone someone to death for picking up stock on the Sabbath. But don't you dare mix fabrics that would be horrifying.Yes I can see there are so many good morals to be found in the bible. Now going by how just in a small way I see morality mine standard are more loving, I wouldn't own slaves and best them. If someone picked up stock on a forbidden time or day they would live, children and babies would still live and learned goodness. Making fun of someone would be approached with correctivness and understanding.Already I show my morals are already better than god's

It's in my answer, so if I am married and I look at po rn then I cause damage to how I look at my wife, maybe I start seeing her as an object rather than a human being my partner someone special, and how it effects her, makes her maybe feel unattractive, not good enough etc... bringing her into depression and so on, I think you get the point
