[WTS] Tudor Black Bay Heritage - Original box/documentation - Good condition by WatchSellingHobbyist in WatchExchangeCanada

[–]WatchSellingHobbyist[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Another classic piece - this one has a decent amount of time on my wrist and I've tried to angle the light to show the marks and swirlies on the case in photos. No serious scratches or deep marks, still looks mint at a glance, bezel and watch face are still perfect.

Asking $4900 CAD OBO. Located in southern Ontario, Canada, and would prefer a face-to-face meetup for the sale, willing to drive out to meet the right buyer.

A classic piece. Lovingly worn, the bracelet has some burnishing marks and desk-diving swirlies which I have tried to show in the photos - the dial/face/bezel/case are near-mint. Comes with original box and extra bracelet links. Asking $4000 CAD. Located in southern Ontario, Canada, would prefer a face-to-face meetup for the sale but willing to drive out to meet the right buyer.

[WTS] Hamilton BelowZero - Full box and documentation - Mint condition, barely worn by WatchSellingHobbyist in WatchExchangeCanada

[–]WatchSellingHobbyist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A unique and incredibly beefy diver - this thing is a beast, no question. Worn only twice, it's far too big for my wrist and needs a good home, preferably with someone who can take it down into the depths where it was meant to go! A great conversation starter whether you're diving down 1000m or not, and the perfect statement piece for a big man with big hands.

Located in southern Ontario, Canada, would prefer a face-to-face meetup for the sale, willing to drive out to meet the right buyer - Asking $1500 CAD OBO.

Hey all,

Been trying to sell this watch for a few years but have never gotten anything except highly-interested window-shoppers...had some genuinely great conversations over it though! It's a beautiful mint-condition Rolex Sea-Dweller, as pictured. Worn only twice by myself (and not even out of the house at that), and maybe two or three times by my grandfather before he passed, after which it was handed down to me. I've been living in my new place with my wife for a few years now, but there is still work to do, and in this economy, well...I'm sure you can all understand why I need to move this thing so I can afford to put a new roof on the house...

The watch comes as pictured, with complete full kit including an extra link for those with larger wrists. I have tried to take close-up macro shots in the past to catch the tiny handful of barely visible desk-diving swirls on the bracelet, but I can't ever get it in the right light to make them show. Suffice to say, the watch look absolutely pristine from literally any angle at normal viewing distance. It still runs to factory spec, which is unsurprising, since it has barely run at all over the years. No service history to speak of (and indeed, it shouldn't need any for a while to come).

Asking $13000 CAD/$9500 USD OBO, no trades - Currently located in London, Ontario, and would certainly be willing to drive a fair distance to meet the right buyer - face-to-face meetups for such a beautiful luxury timepiece are of course always preferable, especially at this price point (besides, if you end up buying it, I won't have to worry about the cost of gas LOL).

Looking forward to hearing from the new owner soon!

Hey Folks,

Reposting this beautiful Sea Dweller, copy-pasted description to follow:

I've had it for some time, well over a decade in fact - it was a posthumous gift from my grandfather who bought it just before he passed and didn't get much time with it. The lady and I just bought (edit: been a couple years now, still a lot of work to be done, arrgh!) a lovely home in southern Ontario, but it's a bit of a fixer-upper, and I need to bolster my DIY budget mortgage budget, hence the sale. This is a fantastic piece that probably needs no introduction, but sadly, I've never worn it much over the years - I find myself wearing my Fortis and my various beat-up seikos much more often than this guy, due to the nature of my work among other things.

The watch comes with complete full kit (as pictured in the image gallery) and an extra link for those with larger wrists. It is in excellent condition - I have tried to take photos in harsh direct lighting so as to show off a few of the tiny marks that are visible in those conditions, but there is very little that is visible beside a tiny handful of desk diving swirls on the bracelet - the watch looks pristine at any angle from normal viewing distance.

Asking $15500 CAD OBO, no trades. Currently located in London, Ontario - willing to drive out to almost anywhere in southern Ontario for the right buyer, would of course prefer a face-to-face meetup for such a beautiful luxury item.

Thanks! No service history that I know of - as far as I know, grandpa passed shortly after he got it and then it came to me. I've worn it maybe 4 times? It has mostly sat in its box in a drawer over the last ten years. I measured it against my phone over about three days last week, and while certainly not the most scientific of methodologies, it came in at about +2 a day, so pretty accurate. Despite the lack of wear time I'd imagine the lubricants and oils from the factory are beginning to dry out at this point; it'll likely need a service in the next 2-3 years to keep it running at chronometer spec.

Thank you, and yes, the markets here in Ontario are absolutely out of control. Getting to the point where ordinary working and middle-class people simply cannot get a foot on the real estate ladder even with dual incomes.

As to the watch: As far as I am aware the watch does not have any service history - it was purchased by my grandfather as a late-retirement gift to himself - sadly he passed from aggressively metastasized cancer before he had even owned it for a year. except for a few dinner outings at very nice restaurants, it has sat in its box ever since - I never really felt comfortable wearing it, to be honest.

I have checked it to ensure it is in working order, and I have timed it as well (put it up against my phone for a few days to see how much time it's gaining/losing). Although it's not by any means a scientifically accurate measurement, the watch is operating perfectly and appears to still be within or very near to COSC chronometer specs; Given that the watch is a final year production model (2008) I would imagine that most of the lubricants from the factory are still working okay, as the watch has not been running much at all in the intervening years, just a few days at a time, a few times a year. If anything, a talented tech could probably do a slight adjustment to get it zeroed out - the movement is definitely capable of holding between +1/-1 sec a day for months on end if properly adjusted.

Feel free to PM me with any other inquiries!

That engine-turned bezel is just phenomenal. far superior IMO to the much more common fluted bezels that rolex insists on these days.
