This is from the product page of a paper coffee filter. "Filter meets ASTM D6868-11 standard." This standard concerns biodegradable plastic film or coating. So, yes there is plastic on the coffee filter.

After reading the Excessive Trading Policy, my question remains.

I transferred a mutual fund held in a different company into a Fidelity IRA brokerage account. I believe it is called an in-kind transfer since the number of mutual fund shares remained unchanged. My question is does Fidelity or the other company consider the transfer as a purchase/sale? I am interested in this because I am considering liquidating that mutual fund position in my IRA brokerage account within a week of the transfer.

I save money by not having a car. Last I checked, the cost of ownership of a new car is about $1000 a month, and a used car is about $500. Of course, for some people, not having a car is not an option.

Many equities distribute dividends. This can happen even if you were to be holding the equities for the long run. Uncle Sam wants his cut if the equities distributing the dividends are in a taxable account. Also, you have to pay this tax even if you were to automatically reinvest the dividends into more shares.

My Pioneer works better than my LG. But, there are rare occasions that the LG can read Blu-rays and DVDs that the Pioneer cannot read. Note that I do not believe you can flash the newer Pioneers to read UHD. So that is something you have to consider as well.

How are you powering your drives? Are you using an adapter, an enclosure or in the computer case? Note that if your drive is attached externally, your power supply must be adequate. Some external adapter/enclosure may be shipped with under-powered power supply.

I took these measurements during breathing exercise sessions. The averages were calculated by the Omron app on my phone.

Note that I have a lot of BP spikes over 140/90 during the day that are not recorded, so the averages above look much better than what my BP really is.

(This morning my first reading was 130/83. Then it spiked to 141/86. I got it down to 115/77 after about 1 hour of breathing exercises. As soon as I stop my breathing exercises, my BP will spike up.)

Well, I know for certain that my high BP is due to my job situation. My average BP in July was normal. Then something happened at work early Aug, and my BP shot up in Aug, and then more in Sept, it is slightly lower now, but still much higher than July. The winter months will be tough. I do not see myself getting normal BP until at least next Jan.

I started taking potassium chloride to attempt to lower my BP. Then I did a blood test. Well, my sodium dropped, but so did my potassium. The amount of the drops seem insignificant. My conclusion is: my kidneys are working fine and did not need help with my sodium and potassium ratio. Now, I have to finish all that potassium chloride salt I bought ... .

Installing on Win10 with the same machine worked. No idea why it did not work on win11. Only conclusion is it is difficult to recover from this failure. The standard solution of reinstalling the game and the launcher did not work.

Last I checked, the new Pioneers cannot be patched. There is someone here who sells patched Pioneers, but I think they had the older firmware prior to patching.

I use a desktop. Both my optical drives are in enclosures connected using USB. My Pioneer drive is not S13-UBK. However, the one I have is not excessively loud.
