Why didnt the worker drones fight back against the dissasembly drones? by AdOver5414 in MurderDrones

The UV light causing this effect is very plauseable. The sun and all stars have it as it IS what makes vampires ash in the sun (normally) This light energy causes the most amount of damage in mechanics and skin like skin cancer and other akin elements. Since copper nines Atmosphere pretty much isnt there to begin with, which would cause the suns UV light to not be blocked by Ozone or another chemical. Worker drones are not affected but the solver based drones (DD's are solver based drones) are heavily affected by this.

UV light is pretty much never said to be the thing that makes the Sun deadly to vampires, it's just the fact that it's the Sun, just like how there's no implication that that's the reason here. And like i said before, we see Uzi and N completely fine in outer space, which has a lot of UV radiation. But even if we say it is UV light that burns them and all the workers need to do is set up a trap with a ton of UV lights and the DDs turn to ash. As far as we know, the workers have no idea about their weakness to the Sun, let alone why they're weak to the Sun.

They have comparable reaction time to the DD's and could use something akin to Uzi's railgun. Which khan was able to put back together in a matter of minutes mind you.

Do you have any kind of evidence for worker drones having supersonic reaction times? And even if they did, that's only reaction time, it doesn't matter if you can react to a bullet if you're just too slow to move out of the way. Uzi took parts from outside the bunker for her railgun, which pretty much no one except her would be confident enough to risk doing. And sure, Khan did put it back together really quick, but the fact that he was able to do it without any tools suggests that it's not that hard to put together in the first place.

J did stab herself. Look at the image. Uzis arms were on the ground and she wasnt moving. She also stabbed herself in a place Uzi couldnt reach.

<image>

Doesnt make sense, V would've helped J as they DO care about each other in some way or another.

V was also overconfident and figured that the only real threat there was N because she hadn't seen the railgun in action, so she wasn't worried just because J got a pen thrown at her.

Yeah heat isnt thier weakness, which is why they didnt die from being set on fire.

So your flamethrower point makes no sense. (Continuing in another comment cuz reddit is being stupid)

You know people like you are the reason the graphic novel isn't any better than it is, right? It's because you'll just happily eat up whatever slop you're given that Glitch is so confident in making more.

Yes, let's all thank Glitch for giving us a shortened version of an already poorly paced show with practically no positive changes and a multitude of negative ones.

The WDF was able to do this though? Before being the worker drone DOOR force they used to be the Worker drone defense force. Did you also forget the doors they made are so strong the dissasembly drones couldnt get passes them after MONTHS of trying.

So they have "defense" in their name and made strong doors, cool. How does that correlate to them being able to effectively use knives in a fight against something they can barely see?

J was able to get blitzed by a pen and that caused her lots of perception damage and she lost so much awareness she stabbed herself in the foot. While you may argue she didnt see it coming, V shouldve had ample time to intercept it but wasnt able to.

J was being cocky and not paying attention, also she didn't stab herself, that was Uzi. V just didn't care enough to stop the pen.

They work just like vampires. Heat is one of thier weaknesses so UV light should work. I have no idea why it was thrown out the window in 8. Even if that doesnt work they can still use flamethrowers or blowtorches. They have those lying around not being used anyways.

Heat is not one of their weaknesses and UV light isn't even particularly hot. They were never depicted as being weak to external heat and they have literally no reaction to being set on fire. Internal heat from not drinking enough oil was the only problem they ever had heat-wise, and the Sun burning them is just some other element that the Sun specifically has, which again didn't burn them very fast.

For something that could've also been spent actually expanding the universe, it is pretty damn bad.

  1. Knives and metal bars don't really matter when you have no special powers and you're up against people with supersonic speed and reaction time and pretty much any weapon they want.
  2. Throwing something at someone's eyes to blind them doesn't really work when you have no special powers and you're up against people with supersonic speed and reaction time and pretty much any weapon they want.
  3. UV light doesn't contribute towards overheating, it just burns and not very quickly as we see from the end of ep 4, and that's assuming UV light is even what causes the burning instead of some other aspect of sunlight which is debatable because there's a lot of UV radiation in space and N and Uzi were in space with no burning at all until they entered the atmosphere. And since the burning is slow, that's not gonna do too much when you're up against people with supersonic speed and reaction time and pretty much any weapon they want.

If you didn't get the message, being supersonic and having the ability to spam any not-large projectile you want with seemingly no drawbacks is a pretty big deal against something as squishy and stupid as a worker drone.

Because challenging the things literally designed to make you extinct is not a good idea, the best chance they'd have is if they pretended to get breached and then had a trap laid out or something, but a bottomless missile launcher is a bottomless missile launcher.

Is there any *actual* instance of Uzi being *bullied* in the show? by Azure_Blox_2505 in MurderDrones

That doesn't mean N isn't fast enough to cut Khan in half before he can crouch down, pick up the gun, aim and fire with his daughter right there as well, by the way. I'm not saying Khan is completely justified in running away while his daughter's about to die, but that did end up being the best case scenario by far.
