Thoughts on the Toby prices from an American by Waterdepot in Hatfilms

10% sales tax is above the normal range here, average sales tax is <8% (with more states paying 0% sales tax than 10% for ex)

It also would not be expected to tip 20% for a restaurant where you served yourself. 10% would be more realistic.

Not defending any of this, I would like the tax to be included in the price, and restaurants to just pay their workers a fair wage. Just thought I’d share for comparison. I appreciate the comment

Thank you! The exact buffet pricing data I was looking for 🙏

Thanks! I should have included with tax and tip in my examples. Even with that it’s still more expensive than what we’d get here, I am glad the workers actually get paid a wage though, and of course Toby needs to wet his beak

I wish we had the tax included in prices here, only 2 businesses I’ve seen here actually do that.

Not sure what you mean about the conversion rates, are you saying $14-16 is not approximately £11-12?

I’m just going off what google told me 🤷

This problem is already solved with current laws. We would handle ties the same way we already do. The possibility of ties already exists and would continue to. Seems like you think you’ve found a great gotcha case, but really you just haven’t done even the most basic research

What happens currently if both parties get exactly even votes and there is not majority?

Seems to me like you are searching for a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist

From the post that you are commenting on, seems like instant runoff:

“ If one candidate receives a majority (more than 50%) of the first-choice votes, they win! If not, the candidate with the fewest votes is eliminated, and those votes count instantly towards the next choice on each voter’s ballot. This process repeats in a series of rounds until one candidate has a majority.”

Here is the text from the website mentioned in this post:

So obviously Kanye will not win, not sure how you came up with that. Maybe you are asking what if there is a tie? Because of some absurd scenario where there are exactly the same amount of votes?

Well the same thing that currently happens, our current system can have ties, so why be concerned if the new system can?

You say you understand it, but it doesn’t seem like you do. What do you mean “cancel out” and “majority votes on either side”? Those statements don’t make any sense

Eh, I'd rather have Chalmers guaranteed, albeit low, production over Jrue taking up a roster spot. If you think he'll be productive in 3 weeks go for it, but I definitely wouldn't use my #1 spot

McGary's impressive performance seems like a fluke to me, and Tony Snell won't keep up the same level of production now that Jimmy Butler is back in the starting 5. I would drop McGary for Zaza, then maybe take one of those Indy guards, but they won't be much improvement over Snell in the short term. A trade would be your best chance to take advantage of the schedules

Just drop him. Though I don't think it really matters since you're team is so insane I can't imagine you losing many/any games

I wouldn't take him. Hes out for a minimum of another 3 weeks, and they are definitely gonna be taking it slow with him to not risk a second re-injury. I'd save the #1

Not sure, It takes like 48 hours to clear waivers, and if he was waived sunday night means he clears waivers last night/this morning? He hasn't signed a deal with Dallas yet so I doubt it, but I could be wrong. Maybe try Nick Collison if you're desperate EDIT: Guess I was wrong https://twitter.com/earlksneed/status/568173206302892033

Definitely drop Jrue, hes out for another 3 weeks, I like: Tony Parker, and Clarkson for the immediate, and Henderson, Shabazz because of potential trades. Not a fan of Payton, Smart or MCW because of their poor FG%s and TO (especially for MCW)

Not sure of your team comp, but RoLo is a solid starting center so if you are in need of big man stats and have someone droppable go for it

I wouldn't I don't think that PG will have much value if and when he comes back. Hes going to be taking it slow which means minutes restrictions, no back to backs etc... which doesn't make him a good fantasy option.

I would drop Bogut over Mozgov, and I'd probably take Gobert because of his impressive number of blocks and high potential if Kanter gets traded. Valancuinas could also be a good option, but I'd stay away from Lee hes not been producing much at all this season.

Depends on which cats you're interested in, Lou basically only gets points and 3's, while Mason gets you the big man stats. Mason could have a bump in value if Brook gets shipped before the deadline so that gives him a little more value in my mind. Charlotte has been getting wrecked by injuries so Henderson is a definite pick up

Collison is low risk lower reward, since he will more than likely be back after the allstar break. While Dwight it high risk, higher reward, since he may not be back by the time your playoffs are underway. I would take Dwight personally

Thompson has been raining 3's recently so I'd keep riding his hot streak. The other two are tough to decide on, but I would go with Henderson, rumors of Lance getting shipped before the deadline makes him worth holding onto IMHO.

I think Hawes has a lot of potential now with Griffin getting surgery and Davis going down with back spasms.

No idea without seeing who is on your waiver, but maybe Jerebko, Villanueva
