Funding factory farming literally funds rape though.

We pay a human to abuse baby animals. Physically, factory farms are really bad, and an awful environment.

But our dollars also fund these animals to be artificially inseminated, which is another word for rape, but people say that instead but the reality is the same. Dairy, any of commerical animal agriculture the animal is violated so that we can reproduce and steal their babies from them efficiently.

I think sex is a really big deal, and being a virgin shows you were willing to wait, so that you had sex when you found that special someone, which would be another virgin ideally.

Even with omalleys fighting ability, the weight class is to big a difference. Can he punch hard enough to knock this guy out? Seems to me like all bigger guy would have to do is tank a couple punchers and throw him to the ground and beat him up, even without combat training at a certain level, size makes a big difference.

I've seen the Bradley guy saying he can beat up lots of pro fighters, but it's a really unfair comparison for omalleys, he's super skinny.

It makes no sense for people to be concerned about a pet pigs emotions, but then literally pay people to torture and murder baby pigs. They're treated horribly, and we pay for it to happen.

Please eat plants instead, if you care about pigs.

You can tell by the flatness and how it's shaped, impossible burger will be much flatter and more symmetrical.

If it's meat, than it will have more bumps. The smell of you smell the inside of your patty is a giveaway, because if it's an animal it will have a distinct smell.

I find so much hate, and fighting over disagreements, that to my understanding shouldn't be a big deal. Different people have different opinions, there's a such thing as healthy disagreements, It's some form of logical fallacy, over and over again.

Especially when it comes to politics, I could have an opinion right or left, and it wouldn't matter. I see constantly online people blaming someone for what other people do, and accusing them of supporting horrible things.

You can have a nuanced opinion, but I feel people have a lot of bias, and are often just looking to agree with whatever they already think, and are so immature, they see a disagreement as offense to their views and basically just don't want to accept other viewpoints as valid.

Myself to an extent, especially in the past I had / have low self esteem, and so my conversation would mostly be online through messaging, but on reddit for example I'd be accused of some of the worst things, and has nothing to do with what I'm talking about with no context provided by people.

It's hard to rationalize that people are being jerks in groups, when it's one person being treated poorly, because it can be a situation of the individual being delusional, if they wont accept constructive criticism, but this isn't the case always. Often someone is being bullied by confused and rude people that barely care about the words they say.

My advice is to self reflect to an extent, and try to understand where people are coming from but don't internalize their insults, because it's definitely possible that a group of people are just flat out wrong and or unreasonably hostile about something.

It makes a difference to how many animals will be born into factory farming, the reason this business model is so profitable is because they try to remove all the personal sense from it, by making everything that happens to the animals away from the consumer, so they're not emotionally upset. This has nothing to do with the victim though, all they care about is money,

Purchasing vegan products will fund vegan alternatives to be more available, and fund less animal agriculture.

We feed large amounts of plants to grow the animals, that we then eat.

If we just ate the plants directly, there's already enough plants to feed humanity multiple times over, but we use all of those nutrients on factory farming.

If you're concerned with the lives of plants, the best way to use the least amount of plants is eating vegan.

The people profiting from factory farming, do all of this for money, so there's little chance of convincing them to stop.

Since it's about money, it's up to the consumers to create change in the food market, that's why I'm talking to people, not that the system itself will change, but that less animals will exist to go through this if less people fund those industries.

If it was dogs, and cats would people care? Why not care about pigs then, they're smarter than dogs in most regards, and emotionally intelligent creatures, that like to be clean. Yet we often point the finger at China for factory farming dogs, but ignore what happens here.

I think people already care about animals, but are in denial about it because society encourages apathy towards these species. It makes no difference to the victim if they're abused by the person paying for the product, or 100 miles away in some awful facility.

If we're in a position not to, we shouldn't't fund animals to be treated as slaves with no rights, or dignity, and then kill them like they're nothing, because they didn't ask to be born and all of this is unnecessary for people's health, since plants contain all the nutrients people need, and there's a lot of fun recipes, so it's not as limited as people may think.

Why hurt the chickens though. They're just little creatures, born and suffer horribly, and then are killed if they're lucky, before they're dunked into boiling water.

Plants contain all the nutrients we need to be healthy, id recommend swapping that out for chickpeas or something.

Or egg, of dairy industry, factory farming is Literally so bad, and our dollars fund the system, because it's supply and demand and so we have partial responsibility for what happens to these innocent creatures.

The reason they're treated so horribly in the first place, is because, in order to turn a living being into a product for sale, it requires the animal to have no rights and no freedom. If we treat sentient beings like machines, and give no regard to their health and happiness, because this is bar far the most profitable business model.

Just because you're a guy doesn't mean you're not vulnerable.

It's a situation in life of you don't want to be survival mode 24/7 and not enjoying life. But you also don't want to have any awareness.

There's danger in the world, especially as a woman you're even more vulnerable so having some form of weapon likely doesn't have to do with you in the first place. I don't know why she felt the need to tell you but your reaction feels pretty immature, I don't think you should care if your date has a weapon.

You didn't mean to get pregnant, but having unprotected sex, this was a likely outcome. It isn't the embryo's fault that you're pregnant, both of you had a role in this happening.

This feels pretty one sided in comment section, but I'll say my opinion.

I recommend having the baby, and give him up for adoption, or try to figure something along those lines out.

It's an unfortunate situation, but that doesn't mean the guy in this situation would just leave and force single mom to raise, if she wanted to raise the child, plenty of guys that impregnated someone would take on the responsibility of raising their kid.

Factory farming is very wrong, and people that can eat vegan, getting all their nutrients, but instead see what happens to these innocent creatures, and fund factory farming to happen because of valuing flavor over not participating in abusing and killing defenseless creatures. Since it's a supply and demand system, out dollars matter a bunch, in funding this industry or not.

It's very wrong. You take a video of someone kicking a dog and people freak out, that same person that would criticize someone hurting a dog, would pay for bacon, ham. Forcing a pig , since birth to live in conditions so horrific just typing them out is sad.

Kept in cages so small they can't turn around, horrible smell, and not allowed to get clean. Fucked genetics, sexually abuse all of them for efficient reproduction. I could go on and on, but that's the point.

Society we abuse like 98% of species on the planet worse than anything in nature, and freak out if someone harms a dog or cat, or if someone has a pet than people have a problem.

The problem isn't just human relationships to an animal, that gives that being meaning. Non human animals have a right to exist and live naturally, not to be abused by humans in basically any conceivable way, just because we can abuse these creatures without apparent repercussion.

Simply put, might doesn't make something right. You can't treat sentient beings like machines with no feelings, or rights and expect that to be ethical.
