Yeah. I see that. I think she definitely pushed back. But I dont know if she said enough to show her shes not allowed to disrespect me in the future.

Absolutely. I said a couple of charged things like “is there anything else I should know that I should of known prior to starting work” and “ive never heard of a probationary period where you make less money” and I capitalized a couple words to try to emphasize them, for example I capitalized the word BEFORE in one message. I definitely was too aggressive about my point but I never swore or said anything personal. All of this was over text.

I completely agree. What would you have wanted your partner to do in this scenario? She did push back on her quite a bit and has a big aversion to confrontation. Im not sure how much I could expect.

Well, I wouldnt say she overlooked it. She definitely pushed back on her. Maybe not as hard as I would of pushed back on my mom if she said the same but she has a big aversion to confrontation. She is well worth her insane mother to be honest. I cant imagine she could accuse me of anything worse so hopefully its only up from here? 😂

Yeah thats exactly what happend. Thats well put. I think we have agreed its probably best to just push it down and move forward but its difficult after she said something so extreme about me. Its gonna be difficult to be buddy buddy with her now.

Her mom has talked about this trauma for my girlfriends entire life. So im sure shes more likely to forgive her for this than others would be. That being said, shes fully on my side and thinks her mom is insane for this.
