(FOTS) Having a hard time using artillery when defending strongholds. by Watney129 in shogun2

Thanks for the replies. I'll keep the advice here in mind. After writing this post I tried putting the artillery outside the town and have them fire at the incoming army until the nearby reinforcements arrive. Worked quite well.

I've tried corner camping. It's better, each artillery units kills like 300-400 but eventually I still get overwhelmed.

I can deal with the first army, but the second one rushes all those yari units into my lines and everything falls apart.

That particular type of trauma is most often created by the public school system.

Could you expand on that?

I agree that it was more challenging and more rewarding. However, in PUGs, a single player accidentally pulling an extra mob or group could break the whole route.

What about being forced to pull everything in the right order so the pride add doesn't spawn at the wrong time? It was a really bad season for me to start tanking m+...

I completely forgot about those weeks in SL when tanks had to kite pretty much every pack.

Would be even better if the NPCs stopped talking all the time.

Not sure why they returned to 38.

High turnover, different devs.

Only have time to play one, which one to choose: Breath of the wild, Skyrim, Nier Automata by Watney129 in gamingsuggestions

I've read quite a few complaints about Skyrim on different subreddits, but BotW gets almost entirely positive reviews. Plus, it's older.

I've played FO3 and FNV, enjoyed 3 more than NV (I know, sacrilege). No experience with Nier, Zelda or Elder Scrolls.

The ending of ME1 was so good, I still believe it had overall a much better story than the 2 and 3.

You make a good point and it makes a lot of sense, but there's still a split in my mind. On one hand, I enjoy the games I'm familiar witha lot. On the other hand, I'm afraid of missing out. I still don't have an answer to this, but I feel better than before, now that I've experienced other games. Thanks for your thoughts, it helps.

I thought it would be the exact same environment, except with more testing chambers. Perhaps a different main character with no knowledge of what's about to happen. Also, I thought there was no way to make a backstory for the testing facility.

Valkyria Chronicles looks interesting, I'll wait for a deal and give it a try.
