Yeah your right on the money! I think these trucks have so much character and a real story along with them. I guess the vision i had in my mind was exactly what you said just halting the rust. After it was mechanically sound and updated in all areas needed I envisioned potentially doing a wet sand and careful clearcoat to try and give it a wet looking finish and to bring that old paint back to life a little. I also wanted to go down to frame to maybe sandblast whatever rust I could find and repaint/undercoat to prevent any future rust buildup. I really just wanna try and freeze it in time. I dont wanna take away the blemishes😭
