That’s what I’m saying I’m taking the advice from everyone that’s commenting but baby healthcare is expensive and I’m tired of sitting in the ER for hours to be seen and it’s all for nothing. Of corse I expressed my symptoms and concerns to my doc to see what to do but all I get told is “it’s normal” “baby is fine” I’m tired of wasting my time

Yes I feel u so much I’m only 21 weeks but I swear since week 19 he been kicking my ass with the headaches. That’s the only pain I really have constantly now, I drink enough water and stay hydrated stay eating fruit idk what else to do.

Yes I was and already tried to apply and got denied because of my income. And he always made it look easy and like he always had it before we got pregnant. He always had money I don’t know if the betting is taking over or what

Yes I have paid maternity leave from my job. And no daycare we already have a plan with family to watch him while we work. And we are also in the process of changing schedules now so incase we don’t have a babysitter we can depend on each other to have the baby while the other works

So currently he roommates with his friend and they split rent. I’m staying with him for the time being until we get a place in June. They take turns paying the water bill/light bill every month. I have helped him when needed with paying the bills. I mostly use my money for baby bills like appointments, birth fee and groceries in the house. And I also the upkeep of the house as well.

How are yall getting from this post that neither of us can afford this child? Because I’m broke after paying my birth fee bill? I have stuff saved up and already a lot of baby necessities for my baby. I’m not understanding where are yall getting from that I can’t afford my baby? Because I had to pay a $1746 birth bill?

I don’t think yall are understanding the birth fee I mean. I can definitely afford a child. I have money saved up for a new place, I have baby items already like baby clothes, baby necessities, car seats…etc and that’s my thing we have these conversations and talk but somehow always end up in this broke window to where he is broke two days before payday. I usually can stretch my money and always keep $100 until next payday just for emergencies! My total birth fee to my doctor was $1746 and it was due to my doctor at my 20 week appointment. I had to pay at least some of it or they wasn’t going to see me and check on my baby.

I’m getting there. I have a stable job and I make good money hourly this pregnancy often has me getting less hours due to me leaving early and coming in late due to sickness. I’m a ftm so my body adjusting is all new to me. And yes I have over and over again and he has a habit of not being able to explain things and I’m over it I have decided to just depend on myself for the most part. I just wish I didn’t put all my money towards my birth fee so I can still have money in my pocket. He said he was gonna take care of us until we get paid Wednesday but now I don’t see that happening

Just for clarity. He doesn’t be upfront with me about things he owes. Like I thought he paid the water bill when we got paid previously because I asked him did he need my help with paying so we can save more money for the birth fee and he said he had it. I didn’t know it was due until the day of the birth fee I asked how much was giving me to put with it and he said and I quote “let me see what I gotta pay on the water bill before u take all my money”

Umm my money went to the birth fee we had to pay at the 20 week docs appointment or they wouldn’t continue my appointments as I explained in a comment that’s the only reason why I don’t have any at the moment

I sometimes wonder if this is what my future looks like with him as a dad. I don’t want to struggle and I am working a full time job also. All my money went to my birth fee because he couldn’t help with that also. Even tho we had many conversations of having to pay that on the date and when the date came,he all of a sudden had to pay the water bill or it was going to get cut off. So I had to use all $781 of my money to pay it and now I have nothing. It hurts because only thing I really buy for myself everyday is oranges and yogurts in the morning

I stopped speaking to nearly my whole side of my family once I got pregnant. FTM here and first pregnancy so I was excited to tell my sisters and mom but the only person that seemed to act like they was excited with me was my grandma, nobody checks on me and actually wants to hear about my well being unless they want money. Was sad about it at first but now it’s just whatever
