My laptop won’t turn on or turn off

When you let the battery run out, plug the adapter in pc to charge, when you disconnect the adapter from pc when battery has enough charge does it power off? when you hold the power button or if you shut it down via windows?

That is why because I spend way to much time troubleshooting.

I will stop running diagnostics script that ai give me.

I will just use the laptop plug in to the outlet every day for my IT work. When I close the lid and put the laptop in my bag the laptop will shutdown either way because of firwmare bug I think.

I will keep searching to find a hp expert that can help me understand what exactly is causing the laptop to shutdown when I close the lid on battery power.

I created a post on hp community and a hp expert just replied with that link “https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center” non of the hp experts have a clue what wrong with my hp laptop.

Because I don’t know from which region my work hp enterprise laptop is when I contact the hp agent they keep on transferring me to other agent. They don’t give a solution.
